The funny thing is the language used in this "assessment" is very assumptive. You could say that many of these PC or notebooks were PROBABLY used for gaming, but the fact that they could also be used for something else is still not ruled out by what you submitted here.

The question here is whether the surge in 360 purchases was motivated by Kinect or hardcore games.
If it's just that people prefered the 360, then that is good for all people here praising the sales numbers because they can look to future hardcore games being developed on the system.

Really, I don't see what the huge problem is. The internet has really created a culture where people's opinion become way too influential on what people purchase, do and think. If they like the 360 version, so be it.
