yeah, it would have been very good for them if they'd managed to get it out in January, due to the lack of games. Maybe even February.
However, this game seems to have some pretty original gameplay mechanics, like the whole nectar thing, being able to play dead, punch someone in their face and steal their weapon and so on.. I'm not giving up on it quite yet =)
I can understand people thinking that after just watching a few screenshots of the game, but since this game focuses a lot on the "creating" aspect I feel like it caters to people older than that. Kiddies probably will have problems creating anything interesting. Meanwhile, I'm a bachelor of science, and I can't wait to build all kind of crazy stuff I'll never be able to do irl. =)
This game allows people to be creative more than any other console game that I know of,...
"some people think First Person Shooters are the only genre worth playing."
too true.. =I
I think your comment was perfectly fine. But Zhuk is as big of a blatant bot as they come..
I like!
Tbh, I wasn't too excited over Resistance 2 before, but it does look very promising
Yeah, some people just take it to the extreme.
I don't think that people like TheMart and Nasim are liked by neither PS3- or Xbox-owners..
hehehe, this actually made me LOL.
Best part was when he stopped humping the wall, looked around to make sure no one is watching, and then went back to his glory hole =)
EGM/1up just happens to be the most accused mag/site of being anti Sony. One rep I feel they have deserved.
I see no reason why Sony would support a mag that is full of Xbox 360 fanboys.
Anybody remembers "Dear Mr. Kojima, Eat a D--k"?
Every video I see of this game, it makes me want it even more than I did before.
This is the game I look forward the most to in 2008. GT5 and MGS4 will be day one purchases for me, but I doubt I'll play any other game the first 2-3 months after LBP's release.
Conclusion: the Xbox 360 version is blurrier.
What's the point of comparing screenshots from completely different situations and from a complete vs incomplete version? Especially if all you're going to talk about is the lack of blurryness.
Warner is under contract to release on HD-DVD until May, and I believe they are going to do so. If they don't, then Toshiba might have a legitimate reason to sue them.
I agree. I'd much rather prefer waiting a few extra months and get a perfect game than a rushed one.
Even though it's so hard to wait, it's the game I look the most forward to =)
"jack who", you need to get a clue.
The 6GB movies you download are compressed 720p with DD mono/stereo at best, while Blu-ray is 1080p with 7.1. All that takes up a lot of space.
If you want true high quality picture and audio that compressed stuff you're downloading isn't an option.
What do you mean "disc size doesnt matter"? Is that why the HD-DVD version of Alexander had to be split into 2 disks since they couldn't fit the entire movie on one disk?
Having to change disks in the middle of a movie is not "next gen"
"Have you ever played any other Western RPG's before? the mechanics and gameplay is so ruddy shallow, you'll not need a ruler to measure it."
True words.
It's funny how most people that praise Oblivion's RPG elements obviously haven never played an RPG before.
I'm sure "The Elder Scrolls V: Fallout 3" will be a huge hit, but I doubt it will be a worthy sequel to Fallout 1 & 2. The quality of FO 1 & 2 is irrelevant, since FO3 is not developed by Black Isle, but by Bethesda.
"But Bethesda created Oblivion!"
Exactly. And they showed they know nothing about what makes a good RPG. Oblivion might have been a good FPS, but it was a crappy RPG.
The dialogue was very limited, rarely did you get to mak...
I guess the reason it hasn't been implemented yet is that it'll take up memory which in turn will make games run slower.
They're probably working on a solution that will interfere with the games the least. I hope they take their time and don't just rush something out to shut the people up quickly.
We can only speculate if he truly was inspired by R&C or not.
However acting like he hasn't heard of R&C and doesn't even know which platform it's on sounds like complete BS to me, so I find it pretty hard to believe anything he says..
Have you taken a look at the top of the page on metacritic?
It's owned by CNET, the same company that owns Gamespot.
Well said. No wonder you have so many bubbles, here's another one =)
