That Pioneer telly is absolutely awesome - saw one running Assassin's Creed the other day and it looked amazing.
I'm sure those 'millions' of Sims addons won't need grading but it's an interesting take on the whole BBFC ELSPA dynamic in the UK

Completely agree. Hopefully as a generation of gamers become parents the Daily Mail brigade will shut up and realise that games are something that need to be monitored and dealt with responsibly.
@ Jinxstar, I disagree with you but you make a decent point.
You say it's up to the parents but if there is no game rating on the box they will just blame the industry when they discover a game is violent/sexual.
If the parent is a gamer it is a little different - they will understand that some games are unsuitable for the kids and be able to sit with them (or, even better, game with them) and remain a moral compass.
You still get people telling...
Which is why I submitted it, admittedly, but the mainstream papers are really beginning to acknowledge that gaming is a major industry. Will they go the whole hog and have a gaming pullout?

You spend weeks writing articles on how ratings systems are there for a reason and that adult gamers should be catered for with adult games and some fool stirs up some controversy (and traffic) with a misjudged piece like this.

Blu-ray will be the last spinning HD media - next step will be d/l. Also, how much video can you fit on a limited size DVD disc? A few minutes? All seems a bit pointless to me...
And to think I've gone from spending 15 hour periods on Counter Strike to scrabbling round for a few minutes to get my achievements on Portal :(

It's going to be very dependent on the price - if I can watch BSG and Simpsons legally then it *might* be worth it.
Really looking forward to Clear Sky - Shadows was so clearly flawed but also so clearly nearly a genuinely great game. More sandobox and a bit more QC and Clear Sky will be awesome.
