My brother gave me his ps3 a few weeks ago and so I just picked up a copy of GoW 3.
It is such a brutally awesome game. My favorite hack and slash ever now.
That is true for most games, but there are a few like the Witcher 2 that have steam achievements, but if bought from somewhere else, does not require the use of steam.
OMG dinosaurs vs. caveman was probably one of the FUNNEST things I have ever played. It completely ruled my childhood.

Haha yea, I played and loved both Shadow of Chernobyl and Call of Pripyat, but was never able to play clear sky because of a bug that causes me to crash every time I load a saved game.

The whole upgrading thing on a pc is just an option. Thats the beauty of it all.
If you get a decent enough gaming pc, then you wont really need an upgrade if you dont want one for the next 3 to 4 years.
And yea, you can use an xbox controller for games, and even a ps3 controller too.

And p.s. Ill also be playing this on my 46" LED HDTV with an xbox360 controller.......because I used my brain once and realized that I can hook up my computer to it.....like a smart person.
And yea, never spent more then $800 on my gaming pc. I would call that justifiable.

There is a reason why pc gamers are pc gamers. It's becasue they dont always care about your precious ps3 exclusives.
They want to play pc exclusives on a pc, so thats what they do. Using the argument that it cant play PS3 exclusives is just stupid and immature in itself. If we wanted to play them we would buy a damn PS3.

Im mainly a pc gamer but just bought GoW 3 and beat it the other day. While it is an amazing looking game, saying that is a bit far fetched.
The game has some areas that look incredible but also suffers graphically in some other areas that had to be sacrificed for the performance sake. Try building a high end gaming pc and playing some games first, so your judgments can have a little more credibility.
Yea if it does turn out to be like this Ill just have to wait until its like $10 on Steam to get it. Oh wait, I CANT.
In the full game will you be forced to search through servers in a web browser like the alpha?

Yea, gaming on a pc takes a little more "work". But after being a pc gamer for so long I enjoy upgrading my system and even troubleshooting games sometimes. I try to play my PS3 sometimes but I get sort of bored after a while.
In the end its all a matter of taste.
The only problem I have with it is the web browser server browsing. I absolutely HATED it in the alpha. I like being able to launch my game and have a title screen and then go on from there.
