Well it's obviously harder to optimize for pc sometimes because of the sheer amount of different hardware combinations out there, and due to them not all getting along with eachother so well.
If the pc version had the same graphical limitations as its console counterpart, then they would be able to get it running at 60 fps with ease, on a less powerful machine. But that is not the case.
Instead you have all these high resolution textures and draw distance...
HATS.
If you know anything about DICE, you know that they arent very good with ingame server browsers.
If anything, this new type of server browser is a good thing for pc games. So yea, it is fair that we get a feature that works even better.
The game has a damn sever browser, people. It's just not in-game.
And just like Pandamobile, I was in the Alpha and the server browsing and joining of games actually worked MUCH faster then any previous pc BF game.
It just felt kind of weird and awkward being in a web browser. Im sure we will get used to it.
So yea, stop making assumptions people. You probably dont know it, but your wrong most of the time.
They basically took every setting EVER and put it in a article.
These guys stink.
Not every multiplat game using steamworks on the pc is gonna use it on consoles too.
@evrfighter
The alpha wasnt the whole game.
Cant tell if being sarcastic or not....
Epic just announced they are going to start working with pc on lead platform.
It's ALL about taste when it comes down to it.
It isnt about which platform has the BEST exclusive or anything like that, because we all play on what we like best, and what has the best games and style for our individual tastes.
One person might not like action adventure games or even fps, so they play pc for mmo's or RTS style games, and vice versa.
So yea, what I'm getting at is that each platform has it's own strengths that...
@aaronon
I'm pretty sure that can be said for all games.
Just replay it when the update is released.
There is PLENTY of stuff that you dont get to see in the first play through of the game.
I have that poster in my room. It's sort of gay, but I enjoy it in a very odd way.
I was using a GTS 250 and a pretty lousy quad core while playing the Alpha and it ran pretty good on medium settings. Not sure how much stronger the GTS 450 is but im sure you will run the game fine at medium settings.
Go to the pc forums on here and ask. I'm sure some people will help you put together one.
Yea, the co-op and actual live gameplay they showed was PS3, but the jet trailer that was showed was on PC, and thats what the images are from.
I think the denial is driving them a little bit insane.
Yea, the problem with L.A. was that you could almost tell they were just acting, since it was using the real face of an actor.
But in this they can add as much emotion as they want while keeping it looking completely authentic.
I like how the facial animations in this are still more life like then the "revolutionary" system used in L.A. Noire.
You literally copy and pasted most of that from your other comment on the co-op battlefield video.
No kidding, you seriously need some help with your insecurity issues when it comes down to stupid video games.
GROW UP.
Holly sh*t.
You guys need to say please and thank you a little more.
