the truth is that if this was turned around with xb1 output in 1080p and ps4 in 720, the press and xbox fanbois will be having a field day till the launch of the next generation after this. admit it.
You can bet your bottom dollar that when the xbone comes out, it's gonna get a 9 or 10. These guys wouldn't know if a good game hit them right in the face.

This is going to end in failure. Nothing current today is able to remove the requirement for a capable end user device...nothing. A cloud is just water vapour and this is going to end up as vapour ware.

I'm guessing reliability is going to be an issue, or maybe there are going to be cases where the box heats up and it automatically shuts down or downclocks itself and cause low framerates and such.
Let the xbone fans be happy with their 1600x900 games, and let the ps4 fans be happy with their 1920x1080p games. :D

C'mon if it were powerful enough, they wouldn't have needed to announce to the whole world that their game was running with 150k whatever in the first place and then having to retract it and talk about a balancing act. Should have not mentioned it and just come out with this announcement.

You can talk about Crytek's graphics being super duper fantastic, but all their games have been less than stellar. Graphics wise they shine, gameplay not so much.
Anyway, this guy should just shut the f**k up and complete the game. Results will speak for themselves.

The xbone is beginning to sound less and less than what it was envisioned by MS. Rushed ? Faulty design ? Faulty reasoning or estimates in implementation of the architecture ? We probably won't know until the system is out and more and more people get hands on to check out its capability.
