Haven't really had too many issues with the preview program. Had one streaming a movie from my phone to the Xbox One, but the next time I tried it, it worked fine.
You can opt out of the preview program if it's slowing you down. You'll just have to wait for the next public Xbox One update for it to take effect.
71% of the Earths surface is salt water oceans. That makes for a lot of salt. Plenty of salt for people to be salty about the Tomb Raider deal.
I finally bought a Xbox One after the E3 announcements. The backwards compatibility helped a lot. Now I'm hoping my unplayed games from the Xbox 360 get the BC treatment. Also hoping some games that I haven't bought for the 360 become backwards compatible. First Batman game I've played is Arkham Knight. Now I want the others.
@XboxOneX
Pretty sure it wasn't a small issue. I got rrod once, but got a replacement in a couple weeks. If it was small Microsoft wouldn't have set aside a billion dollars for it.
Your friend would owe you a disc in that situation.
Well of course alcohol mixed with Guitar Hero and a wired controller, you are going to end up with some scratched discs. That goes without saying. Lucky if the console survives.
What kind of idiot moves their console or anything spinning a disc from vertical to horizontal or vice versa while the disc is playing? If I'm not mistaken, the instructions even said don't move your console while it's on.
That said, it shouldn't have scratched the discs that bad by doing so.
How are they struggling if the Xbox One is selling better than the Xbox 360 did? The Xbox 360 did well enough to warrant releasing the Xbox One so just want you to clarify. They aren't selling as much as the PS4, but that doesn't mean they are struggling.
Read the article, it has the answer.
You do realize that Sony reports shipped numbers on its earnings statement also? Those are the ones they earned money on. These numbers aren't for you unless you are a stockholder.
Same as Sony reports on it's earnings statement. Number that they have received money for.
@bmwfanatic
Since when do you guys need an official announcement? ie. Tomb Raider
Lol. It was on at 2 am for one timezone, not most of the world.
Sony won E3 for games that will be out in years, Microsoft won for games that will be out within the year.
I'm guessing that 99% of everyone on here already made up their mind which was better, and how much better, before even watching the video.
The PS4 has gained marketshare, mostly Nintendo's. The Xbox One hasn't lost the kind of marketshare you are thinking it has.
Per VGChartz, which I hate using.
Last gen marketshare Global:
Wii: 37.2%
PS3: 31.6%
Xbox 360: 31.2%
This gen so far Global:
PS4: 50.8% + 19.2 Percentage points
Xbox One: 27.9% -3.3
WiiU: 21.3% - 15.9
Last gen marketshare USA:
Wii: 36.7% <...
Sales mean people are happier, so let's not improve anything. /s
The PS3 sold 408,000 consoles in June 2008, but that was their 2nd biggest sales month after December. Without hard numbers every month, we don't really know if the Xbox One is on par or better sales wise than the PS3.
Looking at fake numbers at vgcharts, looks like Xbox One is a million ahead of where the PS3 was during the same timeframe. That's if I looked at the numbers right and it is based off of vgcharts so...
He's basically saying that Nintendo and Sony have switched places this gen and Microsoft is doing better, sales wise than they did with the Xbox 360. Microsoft hasn't lost market share. The only thing different is that the WiiU isn't doing as well as the PS3 did and the PS4 is getting more marketshare from the lost marketshare of Nintendo.
Same time frame in the consoles life, the Xbox One sold about 100,000 more consoles this NPD month than the Xbox 360 did in th...
@psn_zero
This article is about NPD, numbers in the US, the 360 was second last gen. The PS3 was last in the US.
"Never a night goes by without something".
Really? I'm on Xbox One every day. You are really making more out of this than what is there. If something is happening to you daily or nightly, it may be on your end.
Aren't you the same guy that was complaining about issues in a preview program? lol
