Greatest racer yes, greatest sim is a little hard to achieve when they have basicaly left half the simulation aspects out an also basicaly said it's a fun sim... in other words a arcade/sim
I picked up Demon Soul, great game but it was simply to hard for myself an I did not have the time nor patience the game deserved... it's great devs out there make games like this for Hardcore fans!
I am actualy impressed Turn 10 have came out an said they have tried to make it a fun sim. We all know GT5 is not a game a casual player can pick up because of how serious it is ment to be.
Both games are in no way close to a sim without a proper force feedback steering wheel, still great with a DS3 or 360 controller but adding a wheel really is what the games are intended for.
So in the end you would think
GT5 - Racing Sim
Forza - Semi Racing Sim
How can people honestly disagree with the above comment?? It is visualy superior to UC2
I'm just commenting from the demo mate, it felt alot more like an arcade racer than a sim, an as I am personally pumped for a sim, I hope the driving physics of a sim are true to it's words! How is that a complaint, I want this game to be good.
Several auto magazines praise it because several auto magazines got handed lump cash sums... same as every other racing game
lol what do you expect from ign, at the end of the day if it plays like the demo it is not a sim, an therefore it fails as it claims to be a sim... so how it gets these scores is beyond me. I hope I am wrong though because I have paid in full
If it's anything like the demo I really don't understand these review scores. Felt alot more like a arcade racer than a proper SIM. Looks great, sounds great but if the driving physics are not great, well then who cares about the rest
I don't see what so bad about it, it's something different, alot more fast pace compared to UC2, all in all I think it's good. Has problems there is no doubt about that but nothing a few tweaks/patches can't fix, calling it a mess is a little far fetched if you ask me!
Sensational looking game, man I thought there wouldn't be alot of improvement from UC2, because lets be honest that is still top 5/10 best looking console games, but UC3, wow just wow

I am stoke with this update, thanks POLY you guys are truly my heroes, the game as we all know is far from perfect but I swear each update is slowly getting there.
Love my sims an this an F1 2011 are untouchable, an after the Forza demo I not so sure it is a true sim
Resistance 3 came out at the worst possible time, it is not the strongest FPS an with Battlefield and COD only around the corner it was always going to starve for sales... An R2 was shocking which didn't help one bit
Pretty lame, the game is not even out yet, It probably will be the best looking game on the 360... but to be honest I can't see it looking better than a ps3 exclusive we all know they have a slight visual advantage.
Either way it will look good, an I can't wait to get my hands on the final chapter

Yumi's death in Yakuza is another that comes to mind
SP demo I thought was horrible, MP was pretty good fun, will get down the track but not racing out to purchase it
hmm don't think so, trophy support on ps3 would be great though

Couldn't agree more, love both games, I personaly prefer GT5 more than Forza 3 but who knows with Forza 4, but for the non fanboys that have the option, get both, simple as that.
