Crysis 1 on PC was a great looking game, which, supposedly couldnt run on console. As fanboys were spreading that news, crytek announced console versions ^_^

we went an entire GEN playing majority of our games at 720P on console, which is the entry level for HD. "full hd" is just a marketing term.
Suddenly, everyone cares about frame-rates and high resolutions. Stability is more important than anything else.
While the improvements are all welcome. There are several other ways devs could improve there games, other than just upping resolution and framerates.
