I've been dabbling around with 2/3 of the campaigns (Leon and Jakes), and so far (with a irl friend over xbl), I'm really enjoying myself.
I'm not viewing this as a horror game (simply because horror games scare the crap out of me, and this has yet to do so, or ever will), but as an action game with (so far) a surprisingly good story (so far...).
Is it worth 60 dollars? Not really, the game play mechanics don't warrant that, and once I milk ...
I don't know... Some times when I've had a rough day, the last thing I want is to sit there feeding other players points. I wouldn't call it rage quitting per say, but more so "I'm done for now".

.... It looks good? IT LOOKS GOOD? FFXIV "looked good", FFXIII "looked good", of COURSE it looks good, it's SQUARE ENIX. The majority of their production these days goes into graphics and nothing but.
Until I ever get my money back for FFXIII & FFXIV I will never play another FF game again (unless convinced otherwise by its good nature).

It's not expensive now and a price cut in the future still wouldn't make me purchase one.

Arena Net never claimed to and never will make that claim, they don't need to, their actions speak for themselves. Enough said.
But as far as my own personal opinion goes? It's pretty clear that Guild Wars 2 is the better of the two games.... by a LONG shot. And I really hope that people shed themselves of these negative pre-assumptions/attitudes and actually try/buy and play it. As a gamer you will not be disappointed.

Since i'd hardly call Resident Evil a horror series anymore I'd probably say Amnesia, or heck even Dead Space.
