The thing that Naughty Dog does best is that they consistently makes games that THEY want to play. They mention that a lot in their interviews and it hasn't failed them yet in 30 years.
I agree with Joystiq, their reasoning makes complete sense. There are so many variables.
This article just solidified how amazing UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception story was and the themes it covered.
I loved where the story is headed. Nathan was never one to settle down and I love how that was brought up in the last game. Especially when his friends or family are in danger.
Great pricing for the casual gamer or even a gamer that doesn't own a PlayStation. Keep in mind CES is today and both 2015 Sony and Samsung UHDTV will come with PlayStation Now. $20 a month is not bad for 100 games.
For PS4 users it really all comes down to content. It's a gamble because some PS Now games will get a PS4 remaster, just like Ultra Street Fighter IV. They do need to incorporate PS1 and PS2 games but the issue of licensing is a hurdle.

A RESOUNDING YES! PlayStation Experience was amazing and it's cool to actually have one one one time with AAA developers and indie developers. Plus you really get a nice notion of the PlayStation Nation. Lots of cool people and everyone was really nice.
This game is a gem. Looks absolutely gorgeous and if you can gather a group of friends, it makes for quite a co-op game. Played it at PSX and friends and I were quoting LOTR.
This was nothing short of epic. Being in that audience was amazing and it drew quite a crowd. Best part was rocking out with Sean Murray and the rest of the Hello Games staff. Inspiring stuff, seeing all your hard work being recognized by a major player.
65DaysofStatic ROCKED that concert at the PlayStation Experience. Highlight of the show for me outside of the upcoming PS4 exclusives.
All I need to know is that the people alongside me that played the game at PSX, loved it. I'll take gamers word of mouth and actual time with the game over some game journalist.
Eh, what game did you play at PSX? Everyone that I talked to at the said they loved it and that it played well. So well, that people came back multiple times and it was packed until closing on Sunday at 6. In fact I was the last person to play the game and got a free shirt from Ready At Dawn themselves.
So PS4 now has two of the biggest fighting games in Mortal Kombat X and now Street Fighter V. PlayStation was always big on fighting games.
PlayStation Vue's UI looks pretty nice. Wonder if they'll cover it in some sense at the PlayStation Experience or if on the show floor. This has been in the works long before the PS4 and XB1 were ever revealed.
There is no hypocrisy on Sony's part. TV was ALWAYS on their mind. If you don't believe me, google it. It's right there in Polygon's initial article on PlayStation Vue.
Sony struck the Viacom deal back in January 2013. That's right! A whole month before the PlayStation 4 public reveal on Feb. 20th. Just days before they officially announced PlayStation Vue, they struck the deal with CBS Studios. So far we have Powers being produced by the Breaking Bad stu...
New IPs. And taking risks.
Again this guy is such a bloody moron. He can try and spin shit on Sony and Microsoft all day long. The fact remains, Nintendo remains a distant memory until the same old iconic IPs come out every generation. Because that's all they have. That's why until Mario Kart 8 and Smash Bros and Bayonetta there was no reason to justify buying a Wii U when PS4 and Xbox One were already delivering.
It's back online. I usually que up Netflix when it's Maintenance time. Good way to catch up on tv that I missed.
I'm still waiting for the my collection to finish installing. Stuck at 97.5% on HALO 2 and hasn't even begun yet on HALO 3.
It's like Blizzard and Insomniac Games had a baby.
I seriously wonder some times why this delusional idiot still has a job. Nintendo deserves better.
Makes sense. You knew they were going to have server trouble when the floodgates officially opened to everyone. Maintenance is happening Thursday. Figure out the issues beforehand to know what to look for.
