Nintendo did a wonderful job compared to MS and Sony this gen in terms of addressing backwards compatibility.
sitting right next to my PS3 slim in the living room. :)
Soda Popinsky and Two-Face are both XBOX fanboys, and anything they say in PS3 related articles shouldn't be taken seriously at all. I really don't care if either of them actually played the game, because most of their comments are either arguing against PS3 games or arguing for XBOX games. There is a reason that Two-Face is ignored by 40 people (not to mention he/she is most likely a multiple account user) and Soda is ignored by over 100.
from reporting for calling an article and author stupid once, so I really don't understand the blatant double standard at work here.
IGN, like most internet gaming sites these days, is fueled by mostly fanboys. Yes, they have been coming out with these lists for years, but it seems like odd timing to drop this list with Uncharted 2 placed purposefully right at the top. Besides, IGN didn't just piss off fanboys with their moronic Mass Effect 2 article the other day, they pissed off the entire group of PS3-only owners that visit their stupid site. IGN has been wonderful at alienating PlayStation 3 owners since the launch ...
that "best-selling" and "most-played" have almost nothing to do with the quality of a game, right? No? I guess you just buy what everyone else does and worship it to no end.
response to Mass Effect 2 article, IGN will always be dead to me. Greg Miller is just another fanboy tool, and the entire site is completely worthless. If I wanted to stare at a million ads, I would just go to any average porn site.
of OPM UK? They gave it a 9/10. Also, GamingXP's review made it on metacritic, and they don't typically allow just anyone to post a score on there. Oh yeah, they gave it a 9.2. Was there a point you were trying to make?
can't wait to play it already! Heavy Rain seems like it would be a fun game to play with a friend or two, helping you make choices, as an all day/night event. :)
definitely has the best graphics of any FPS on consoles, but I still prefer Uncharted 2's graphics overall.
"At least from the comparisons I have seen."
Luckily none of us value your opinion.
I couldn't have said it any better myself. Here's a bubble!
"Be a gamer...Not a hater" - That has to be one of the lamest sigs on the internet. Oh, look at me! I am now a gamer AND a hater!
the PS3 isn't in a decline. It's sale have steadily increased each year. Maybe you were trying to say something completely different. Perhaps more schooling is in order for you?
You do understand that the PS3 has a higher percentage of quality games than the XBOX360 right? Well, anyway, I hope you realize that your "flame war speak" wasn't even clever at all. Seriously, "blu-raystation"? It's not 2006, buddy, get over it.
was a pretty decent competitor with their Super Nintendo and N64 (released a year after PS1), maybe you've heard of them?
that the PSP Go relaunch rumors are true! A $50 price cut and forcing all UMD games to be on the store would be a great jump start for Sony's pretty little gadget.
but you, my friend, are truly dedicated to it.
will move consoles, and if GT5 hits this year, I wouldn't be shocked to see a 20 million year from Sony. They've been doing better and better up to this point.
are both big system sellers. I know A LOT of people that are still waiting it out for one of those titles. Aside from those two, I can't think of a major system seller yet to release for any of the big three (except maybe the new Zelda). Microsoft blew it's load too early with Halo 3.
does become "bigger than the Kindle", it will be due to Apple locking down certain big name publishers mostly. I honestly couldn't imagine this thing selling all that amazingly well, but I am planning on picking one up due to the fact that I have a LOT of time at my job where I am literally travelling/doing nothing, and I love the idea of having my books, music, and movies/TV shows on one device that is large enough to make it worth watching. I have a feeling that this will go the...
