I am so happy that they decided to release it at the beginning of the year, so we have plenty of time to play it before the big hitters start dropping (except MGS4 is only a month and a half later). I could easily see 400-500 hours of playing time between the MP and campaign. I, however, vowed that I would beat the full campaign first with this GTA, because I never finished any of the other ones. lol

about LBP being a really good option for GOTY based on the fact that it is an original IP. If the game lives up to its promises, then I believe it will win without a doubt. However, I don't believe this will be the biggest "system seller" as usually those come from name brand games that people recognize, i.e. GTAIV, MGS4.
how you could not want to give Haze a chance over Killzone 2. I mean, I understand the K&L disappointment, but Killzone sucked once already and you are ready to go out and buy the second one now? about GTAIV's reported 7 hours of cutscenes. I don't see why that would hurt MGS4's chances against GTAIV for GOTY. Most likely, GTAIV won't really be in the discussion anymore by the end of the year. Remember when Halo 3 won GOTY last year? Oh, that's right....
on day one. I have seen the trailers and read most of the previews, and I will still get this one when it comes out. It looks pretty fun, and the coop mixed with a good story could be amazing!

I'm really glad that I have more than one good game coming out on my console this year, plus a ton of other updates and unique features to look forward to. By the end of 2008, PS3 owners will be the only ones with a current-gen console. The 360 will be last-gen. Also, why do we still have these morons trolling PS3 news? It really is annoying now.

This information should be pretty obvious to anyone who has been keeping up with the EA-Take Two situation. I don't understand why this guy gets paid to say things that most of us on this site could already tell you. Take Two really wants to release GTAIV without EA's name on those boxes. I find it interesting that he never considers that Take Two would possibly release the game a week or two early if they thought a hostile take over was going to ensue. the hype machine will officially be in full effect. I am pretty amped for this trailer, though, it better beat Resistance 1 by a mile. I hope they centralize the story around Nathan Hale a lot more, and I they need to make it totally first person around him. I don't want any more narrator lady in Resistance 2.
the only country place where the 360 is on top is North America where the evil North American Microsoft is huge. Also, if the PS3 is consistently outselling the 360 every month, it will be their year. You would be stupid to even imagine, let alone expect the PS3 to have more overall sales than the 360 by the end of the year, but that doesn't mean this is not Sony's year. ItisI doesn't know very much about the PS3 lineup for this year. The exclusives are bigger then 360's, and they dwarf the pathetic Wii lineup.

Well, we are all really proud of the 360 for being able to do some things slightly better than the PS3 with a year head start. However, it is a shame that the 360 has already reached its peak. You have to be blind or a moron to believe that 360 is still getting better. The 360 has good exclusives coming out, but they won't come close to 07 (especially since their strongest market is in a recession). Gears of War 2 will not "wow" us like Gears of War did, but I will still pick it...
I was wondering the same thing. Why would the PS3 version have to install more than what the whole 360 version would have? I can't wait to see how fast this rumor gets squashed.
So much for GT5:P not being an actual game, and so much for that 360 price cut. Those numbers are pretty impressive.
