Nevermind, I see now... Apparently Sony is giving out 60,000 keys to the US, Japan, and Europe, so 20,000 each... We will have to see where the US ones end up, but I'm betting the Playstation Blog might be the answer.

I believe that Sony will wait to see how October turns out for them since October is a huge month for games on both platforms (LBP,Socom,Fallout3,Fable2). If LBP and Socom do not push the PS3 ahead in October, expect a price cut around Thanksgiving in the US. BTW, I agreed with you.

Rock Band's DLC is definitely worth it, and we should be thankful that we can bank on new releases from them every week. The songs are generally about a 1.99, or a dollar more than iTunes and you get to play them yourself through the peripherals. You don't have to get all of the DLC on there, but they release full albums now and great track packs. I just got the RB2 drums, guitar, and bass. I'm going to get GHWT, but I won't be purchasing any of the peripherals unless they have a wireless mic. I will be picking up the cymbals for the RB2 drum kit, though:)

for another HD disc to enter this fight, and storage space is not what people are most interested in. People are most interested in its ability to play movies in amazing HD picture and audio. The only reason blu ray "won" is because the studio and marketing support. Once Warner went blu and Wal Mart and Netflix went blu exclusive, it was all over. It wasn't because people heard blu ray could hold more than HDDVD.
Trophies have no effect on whether or not I buy a game from retail, but I do take them more into consideration when purchasing PSN titles. For example, I loved SSHD, but I didn't get the expansions until trophy support arrived, and I won't get BCR until trophy support is available. That's just my personal opinion.
