The only problem is that the 3DS has superior tech and specs. So you decide, core games or an up-to-date handheld.
Each handheld is going for a different market. The Vita is aiming for the Core audience who appreciate high quality games and good storytelling. The 3DS on the other hand is aiming for kids and pre-pubescent teens.

All BF3 has to offer really are incentives. MW3 doesn't need gimmicks to get people to buy the game, just high quality production and fresh innovative gameplay.
