Medal of Honor Allied Assault and made Call of Duty. Now they are leaving Call of Duty and are going for Modern Warfare.
Difference for the sake of difference?
I thought that was also very obvious
graphics will be done on the Cell and physics on the RSX.
multiple tapes. That's hardcore.
And it's still selling. And games are still made for this little console.
I think PS3 will stay here for a long time. Creating games has become very expensive this generation and will become more expensive going into a new generation. I don't think developers are ready for a new console in the near future. The PS3 has enough power for developers to create complete new experiences. Developers need to make a lot more profit this generation to create true next-gen games for the ne...
Sharpness gets a really hit in this video. Gears looks much better than in this video. And the video only shows the effects and lighting in both games.
Judging from the videos I have seen, the big complain I have with Gears is the heavy depth-of-field used to hide the background. You really cannot see that far into the distance.
Gears looks great, but to me it's very obvious there is much more stuff happening in Killzone 2. More moving/flying objects, more effect...
but it looks like everybody keeps forgetting.
EA isn't a hardware manufacture. So that is a big problem. And the console market is already saturated. EA has learned from past mistakes.
technically it is in my opinion beyond any game on the PC. But the design and precentation is just very bland. Great 3D artists make a game look fantastic not some tech-geeks. It's clearly Guerilla Games has better artists than Cryteck.
It's funny that both developers are from neighboring countries.
- New Halo game is a spin-off so big no. And to get excited about a Halo game you have to play all the other Halo games too. So why should PS3 users get excited about a Halo spin off. Total fail.
- Alan Wake looks great, but I have seen nothing of gameplay yet. So it's very difficult to get excited about this game.
- Ninjablade looks like an inferiour game compared to Ninja Gaiden Sigma. So very big no.
- New Splinter Cell. Same thought as Alan Wake. How long are these ga...
I disagree. Because people still see games for both Xbox360 and PC, as an 360 exclusive. So these games for PS3 and PC are also exclusives. And there is no PC in the so called "console-wars". The PC is no console.
Put like you I also see it as platforms competing, not only consoles.
I have only seen one store selling Resistance 2 in my hometown in the Netherlands. That's just crazy and LBP is everywhere.
Lots of great games don't sell well. Ico, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Prince of Persia (PS2), Mirrors Edge. That's just to bad, because these are new ip's. I guess people don't want to try new stuff.
Resistance2 is definetly on my must-have list, but just not now. Maybe during christmas vacation I will trade my old Resistance Fall of Man ...
...it's about how you use cpu and where you use it for.
You could use 100% for 13.1 surround, but you wouldn't see it in the graphics on screen.
You could use it for physics and animation, but without the graphics.
You could use a cpu for the most convincing AI in a game, but would you notice it?
Or maybe and this would be very awesome. Using the Cell for full body motion capture. Or facial motion capture.
Also. Do people even care how much ...
a full cgi movie. This all look suspicious to me. Wait and see.
Will God of War 3 style be like a the new Prince of Persia or Streetfighter4. Both games are going for a kind of painting look. Or must David Jaffes comments not been taken litterally.
Mirrors Edge, Motorstorm, Wall-E blu-ray PS3. And different LBP commercials. But I live in the Netherlands. Maybe a Resistance commercial soon?
...heart like LittleBigPlanet.
Did you kill him after he ate the chocolate or before? lol
is also an rpg shooter. In this old game you could kill a small boy. This game was 15+ according to ELSPA.
...always go that much further than just making a game. Sony's people really have a good eye for these things. How else do you explain games like LittleBigPlanet, Heavy Rain, Flow etc. as exclusives on the PS3. Team Ico is a true gem, and Sony knows it.
I always thought Sony isn't about delivering games, but about delivering experiences. This Trico trailer is really about an experience you can only get on the PS3. Even with this trailer you can get lost in this magical and fant...
