Traditionally it's only been PC games that have used demos anyway. I remember very few PSone, PS2, GC, DC, Xbox or other console demos...
I gotta admit when I was younger, in the days of PSone, I would get almost a new game daily due to piracy. They were just so freely available and we'd all trade them around the school yard. Now I'm older, professional, I see how piracy harms the industry. Plus when your earning money you can just buy all the games you want, no hassle. I very much think it's a crime of youthful ignorance done mainly by teenagers. They're either not earning enough to support their habit or don...
I'm actually really looking forward to this game. It's got all the ingredients to be great, and Rockstar's involved. Everything open world they touch turns to gold.
Not a surprise. Like he said, most developers would say that about all the hardware out there. Remember how Kojima said he was limited by the PS3 with MGS4 some 3 years ago?
I think the quality of their games is also on par too. They're not doing crappy port jobs like other developers/publishers, but actually taking the time to do the PS3 versions properly.
I think it's funny how only a few years ago EA were the bad guys now everyone is singing their praises.
How about a douchebag who doesn't understand the law, and what these orders are made for and why they're made?
all games have different art styles, you can still tell which is graphically superior.
So wait... this guy gets a injunction on him and threatens to break it? Ever heard of contempt? He'll actually go to jail
I'd like if they implemented these bans on Modern Warfare 2. Blops had hardly any hackers in comparison. You can't play MW2 without playing against a hacker now.
With all the love EA's been giving Sony lately, you'd expect them not to gimp the PS3 version.
I've never really been a huge handheld person. I bought a PSP last year when i travelled overseas, but only played a few games on it, and once I got home and wasn't travelling I didn't touch it.
NGP looks tempting though. 3DS on the other hand, no chance for me. Just not my bag.
affordable... hopefully they learned from the Go! about a more appropriate price point. It may end up being the best hand held, but its still a hand held...
true its about the software. piracy killed the PSP, and it just didn't have enough good games. I like my PSP, but I've only got like 6-7 games for it, cos everything else is junk.
What scared me most was the sound.
Like that bit in the elevator when your hear the woman scream, and your wondering if your going crazy or its someone screaming. Then you get to the top and there's that dead person that limps off around the corner, and the whispering voice 'make us whole again'...
That's the kind of shit that scared me.
Interesting then that the reviews seem to say the Dead Space 2 is as scary, if not scarier than the first game?
I don't mind. A lot of the time I'd find myself only playing in short bursts or even too scared to play the first game. Though I did find the first 4 chapters to be much scarier than the rest of the game...
Yeah I like that they cater to the core crowd with the cutting edge stuff, but over-pricing is an issue.
Woot woot! I don't really know the difference but I'm assuming if the servers are dedicated it means Sony host them and they can't be hacked right?
Oh I hope Sony fix this prior to the release of Killzone 3...
If that gets hacked it'll be a total shame. I wonder what's taking them so long to fix this hack- unless it is unfixable as claimed... that'd be a damn shame.
The game is officially screwed online, which is a shame because I love it and still play it.
In these screens the Xbox version looks lower res or something. Everything has a dull, blurred effect side by side.
