Batman: Arkham Asylum sold more units on PS3 than Xbox 360 in America, despite the fact that there are 6-7 million more Xbox 360s than PS3s in this region. Why doesn't the article mention this fact?
Also, Multiplats do fine on PS3. RE5 and FIFA 10 (and many others) sold more copies on PS3 than Xbox 360.

Your reasons are so stupid its not even worth talking about. You mentioned a few websites where they reported rumors that GT5 was going to be released around Christmas. Everyone wanted it to be true, but couldn't see it happening because even as few weeks ago, we didn't have a single direct-feed shot from GT5. How can any studio release a game without any media just 3 months prior to its release? It stank to high heaven.

I think this is proof enough that only games titled "Halo", "gears of war" and "Call of Duty" sell like hotcakes on xbox360. MS loves to say they are 10 million units ahead of PS3, but this is not reflected in videogames sale. All the more reason to believe that half of those 10 million units are RRODed/replaced ones.
I remember when Charlie Brooker worked for PCZone (now www.computerandvideogames.com) , and I used to buy the magazine every month partly due to his reviews and editorials. They were laugh out loud funny. His humor is sharper than a razor edge and his critique is well grounded. Truly a gaming fanatic. Its too bad he was let go because of his craziness (Lara croft animal cruelty zoo). But this is return to form for him and I for one can't wait!

The exclusive preview will be in the form of a video trailer. In order to release a FF13 US (or EU/AUS) demo, they will need to dub the game in English, or EU languages for an EU version. As far as I know, they haven't even hired english voice actors for the game because the game itself is far from complete. Don't get your hopes up.
