Can'r expect Sony to throw money away for free forever, they need to make a little money from this. This could be a good thing for the PS3 and PSN but bad for budget gamers that only play one or two games online for free. PSN wont always be free, heck in a way with all the ads and charging publishers and devs it realy isn't free.

Wasn't it once said that Killzone 2 graphics couldn't be done on a 360 but yet here it is Halo Reach still in development and it looks as good. The screen shots are even off screen and it still looks good. I'm going to be broke again next year.

My point is no dev can make exclusives on any platform and say anything without some whiny kids boycotting it or making a petition. Why don't you jealous fanboys just put your pride away and buy a 360 to play the game. Unless you have no jobs, live in your moms basement and don't get a big enough allowance. It's simple put away a few bucks for a 360 or a few more bucks for PC, buy, and play the game. Thats what I'm doing for a PS3... WHY? because I'm a gamer not a jealous hater.

The games will start to trinkle out like they allways do. PC devs are still making games for XP and Vista, when those OS were released it took some time before they made the change. It will be a while before I have a PC good enough to play games on Windows 7. The only kind of people that will hate on Windows 7 are MAC and Linux fanboys which are just as bad as Xbox, Playstation, Nintendo and PC fanboys.
So you basicly want Epic to stop what their doing for the next 5 years, what they been doing for 15yrs to give other engines a chance. Thats like asking MS to stop making Windows so MAC and Linux can catch up. This isn't a hippie commune, this is a business and you want them to stop making smart business moves so other not so smart businesses can get a clue. 1.8 million people sure is a heck of alot of gamers for one month. If great games like Psychonauts, Advent Rising, Republic Commando, or Project Snowblind had sales like this even in two years we could see a sequel.
Unreal engine is getting older now and devs with bigger budgets are moving on to other engines or Epics new engine. This gives a chance for people to make somthing with little or no money and if it's good they can get it released. Mod makers, dreamers, noobs, or artist can use this.
