UMmMm Look like it's working. The work around would be to
1. calm down
2. Delete everything that says GRAND THEFT AUTO IV (In XMB)
3. Load the game
4. Wait for the game to do a system save
5. Wait for the game to start
6. If it does not work try try again.
Looks like R* not only thought me how to enjoy gaming but also to practice patience's.

how you tried everything to get GTA to work but my question is do you have any PS3 themes (Maybe you don't) but if you do how about trying to delete it. Also I am sorry you have to go through your current situation with the GTA and I mean it to any one who are going through it. Thats F'ed up some people called in sick just to play this game.
Playstation 3 my advice would be to invest (purchase) a UPS (Uninterruptible power supply) it seems as if you are suffering from Voltage sag,Voltage spike,Under-voltage,Over-volta ge. Please buy it makes no sense to buy a $400 machine and not have it protected matter of fact I advise every body to buy a UPS. If you are going to buy one buy it off ebay or else you will get riped off.
I was a hard core madden lover but when I first bought my Playstation 3 to play madden in HD I was soooooo disappointed that I decided to never play madden again. My reasons
1) The playstation 2 controls are not implemented in there there is not options what so ever to do so.

think it's a psn issue I was going through the same problem then I deleted all the saves that said GTA IV then took out the network cord now everything works perfect. It's a shame now I am going to be forced to turn off my Playstation 3 before I sleep, I usually let it fold @ home all night.
