I still want something other than a droid hovering around and getting blown up every 3 seconds as my alternate ability. The medic's droid lasts longer IMO since it stays with the user. on the other hand it does give them away to some degree. I can see you anyways with my sonar :) (no ideas what to have other than a droid though..)

Stopped listening once he said mute all. Obviously he doesnt like playing games online and is way too sensistive to be playing online. Honestly racist comments are here to stay, and people dont even know what they are saying half the time. I find it humorous. If it gets annoying, mute that person. Never has there been an occasion where I need to mute all.

The game demo was terrible, but this will sell like Crackdown or like Halo Wars simply because it gives people access to one of the only 2 games they have on the system. And I dont understand why, Gears online is terribly slow paced and ive seen more action in a betty white movie.
I once read something that 5% of the players in the entire population plays like 85% of actual gametime in game. When you think about it, this makes perfect sense, please the smaller portion of your audience that play the game the most.
Its very delicate to balance hardcore and casual. I hate the term casual btw...translates to lazy people who are gaming because its trendy now, not because they actually like the game.

I got the special edition in my hands right now, Im wondering if I should just return it and get the regular one. The DLC costs $5 and has gorath and valntine, comes with costumes. The Special Edition just has the characters? Anyone confirm wether I get the costumes included in that DLC?
Ps, no auto aim. I think this is a part of the reason these "journalists" mark this game down. It takes actual skill to hit people, something many of these people lack. Hence COD getting 9/10, 10/10.
Honestly, just stop reading these articles. Millions of people have already made up their mind because the online beta is free, and when the single player demo releases to everyone, MORE people will decide that this game is gonna be epic. Duke Nukem 3D was the first shooting game I ever played. This game ushered in for me the dawn of the modern video game when Nintendo ran the earth with their kiddie icons. Duke was man enough to not only kill aliens much bigger than he was, he also got the babes. This is a no brainer of a preorder, I need those playing cards and poker chips.

Excitement is building for this game. I love it. Also, the story of Resistance completely outclasses anything Halo has. I like it. Got rid of mw2 when I saw a player FLYING AROUND IN THE AIR. also, another player went 94-3. Balanced game amirite!? BO is so much better, countless minutes making my own emblem, camo my gun, unlock things that I ACTUALLY want, having immense fun. Agreed with everyone who says graphics suck, but ill take the hit since this brings the fun. Only thing I hate is the RC car, but its balanced enough where I just shoot em when I see em.
