Hardcore games have multilayered storylines, gameplay that you cannot get bored with, something that doesnt run on a gimmick, and lastly, something you WANT to replay over and over.
I think we can justly say that there havnt been any hardcore games that have come out in a very long time. Last one for me personally (you cant include fighting games and multiplayer in this conversation, FYI HUGE street fan) was mgs4. Ive played that literally 5 times.
Reason you...
I hit 6 years with my girlfriend next month. I have been a Warcraft addict when she hasnt touched the game. I have beaten my addiction since, but I still play a good amount of games. She watches me play ps3 games, as its almost always more entertaining than 99% of the pure shit on tv right now anyways, sometimes she begs me to play even when I dont want to because nothing is on.
I have a 3.43 gpa, and I play (being very safe here with this guess) about 4-5 hours a day. When ...
I will be a strong member of the Burning Skies community. I have been waiting to activate my 3g service for just this moment. I'll still probally wait a few more months let them iron out the online bugs
Because the game was garbage. How about the fact that it was 2v2 and no way to make it 1v1? Fighting games are not tag team games. We already have MvC, why make another game that isnt as balanced?
I for one do not like more than 1v1, to me that's what a fighting game has always been about. Its the gaming equivilant to the sweet science (boxing) you dont see 2 people vs 2 people in either boxing or UFC, you see them in throwaway garbage like wrestling (wwe)

As a long time WoW player, all ToR did for me was prove how good WoW was. After taking a year off from MMO's, I picked up star wars thinking I wouldnt get addicted again. I played, storylines are GREAT, voice acting was definately something awesome missing from any MMO on the market.
However, ToR lost my attention. I cant even pinpoint what it was, I just stopped logging in. After a few weeks I logged back into WoW and pretty much played that nonstop till Diablo came out...
How often did people play single player diablo 2? Not very often, unless you didnt have a reliable internet connection, which past a decade ago, is very likely. I only played online, ive been playing blizzard games online since warcraft 2 battle.net. People need to either realiE this is a very popular game, huge amounts of people are logging on at once. This creates all sorts of issues regardless of how prepared you are before launch. "oh they nee to plan for more users!" is the ba...
I got Rayman, Blazblue, and to keep me occupied till Resistance comes out: Disgaea 2 (cant stand Mao and characters from D3)
This is why I have gone from avid sony and general console supporter to PC Gaming. Infringe upon my gaming, charge me a monthly fee just to play games all because you can "lower" the price? Newsflash: ends up being more expensive. Hurka durrk.
Im sure the mindless (m)asses will eat it up, after all the Wii was top seller..
These look awful.
I think if the trailer showed the piss poor graphics of online, nobody would play. But every year people think it will be better and somehow it always get worse. Look at Modern Warfare compared to mw2 and 3. Not even a comparison.
Doesnt matter, Im done with both microsoft and sony. As a long time supporter of the gaming industry, console gaming has lost its way, and since everything is online now anyways, I will go back to being a pc gamer. Diablo 3 came out with perfect timing.
Man, I loved Adam Sessler. His reviews were always spot on, and he was one of the few people who called out companies for doing a terrible job. Probally got sick of being forced to give 9/10 and 10/10s to the yearly call of doodie, halo recycled, and generic games that are honestly not good.
For everyone saying that they will buy it used to make up the difference for the maps they charge for, you are all missing the point of everything. If you support this bs, they will keep doing it. The only way to fight is to NOT buy these DLC things, and thus since theyre are offered online, they wont abandon them, they will make them free, or significantly reduced in price. Hold off you gluttons, its the only way to fight this stuff.
Im going, got my passes ready. Cant wait.
I keep all my sony games, so no matter.
Awesome
This game made me trade my entire system in, complete with ambassador games, for a psvita. Idk what went wrong, but the game felt small, boring, and totally un-mario. Felt like I could play it on an iphone, which means it is too simple to be a real game. (1 step away from a point and click adventure.)
Real games are played and made for the ps3.
Said it years ago, still saying it.
Shut up. End of story. Ipad will never touch consoles and certaintly wont touch PC gaming EVER. Unless you count throw away games, then yea, if shovelware is for you (and 90% lf the world agrees and shows its for them) then go ahead. Meaningful games will never go to the maxipad.
Read the review, this guy a joke. He obviously didnt like the resistance series at all. Bosses are too easy, heres the best explanation HE PLAYED IT ON EASY.
So sick of reviewers. Ive seen enough screenshots and seen enough gameplay to know I want this game. I dont need a review. Eff this guy and Ign, total trash.
