I love night levels it's just so badass, when I catch someone slipping. This is my most anticipated game of the fall season, I love everything about it. This will be a first day purchase, LBP as well. Oh yeah, I can't forget about Home coming next month too. Can you imagine the clan meetings a squad could have in home.(Everyone decked out in their clan exclusive shirts, or better yet with your game characters customization). You forgot R2, I have my own personal hopes on SOCOM. But, I know LBP will own the year for Sony. Mainly because it caters to many casual and hardcore gamers.
Even though it had all of these bugs, I felt like I was one of the many great SOCOM fans to rant their frustrations out. Thanks to that we should have a Warhawk quality(Stability) game. I loved it from the very start but, that was the only thing holding it back. I hope those rumors of Home in October are true, because it would make an excellent addition.
P.S. I also wonder if Slant 6,or Zipper will be making a Home Space. More than likely they will because of its first part...
To me it's a very tatical shooter, the author said "had too many fast paced objectives to allow players to sneak around", well I guess he never caught guys camping on the roofs next to the bridges. I always rack up kills up there, simply because it's just to fast paced so it forces them to camp. It's a very competitive game though, day one for me.
I have surrounded myself with friends on the PSN, who are gonna participate with the Home Initiative(I call Section 8 lol). Wait until SOCOM, and LBP come out we will see how strong the want for a change in console interactiveness progress. If you don't see it then, you can fall back like you slipped on a banana peel.

I agree but, I also see consoles turning into a pc genre as a good thing. I mean really, didn't we all want to have a real good pc to play Crysis(ok game,great graphics) when it released? I know I did; I had my ps3 since jan 07. Sony have Zipper making SOCOM 4, with a single player. They also have them working on MAG. Trust me it is tatical; nobody wants to get shot for running in the middle of a firefight. That aspect to me is a whole lot better than MGO. I remember watching the MGO trailer, which looked like it had some tatical gameplay. But, when the beta came out hardly anybody used strategy. This is the game that I wish MGO was, which is tatical. It's like everyone automatically know not to run and gun or their dead. It's also cool that everyone has a mic, you usually do not see that

Yeah, both of you are right about that. I'm just wondering why he didn't do what he usually does with his previews. Not that I won't read it, I know that the beta had to be at PAX so he could have gotten time with it there. I guess he wanted to rub it in our faces lol
But, as press don't they get the right to preview it?(It could be like GTA4's reviews with an embargo). More than likely he is breaking the NDA, but wasn't IGN putting up Home previews before.

I sort of knew I wasn't gonna be picked this time for some reason, but I never stressed over the fact that I wasn't picked. Yeah, that's probably what makes them lose sleep at night when it comes to the people who haven't experienced the SOCOM series yet. Regardless of what they are doing marketing wise, we both can agree that it will be another epic Sony title.
