Hopefully it'll be on the last week of October or the first week of November. Several triple-A games are releasing during that window so that way, we don't have much to wait for to play those triple-A games on our next-gen consoles.

Stay away from Call of Duty and problem solved. I'll be playing hardcore games (i.e. KZ:SF, Watch Dogs, Infamous: SS, etc.) anyway.

Yeah. If you buy the Xbox One, you're getting an incomplete gaming experience (imo). It's supposed to connect people socially, yet doesn't even come with a real mic. At least PS4 does. Let's not forget that PS4 will allow you to play several f2p games out of the box without having to go through a paywall. That'll save you some more money if you feel that you've spent a lot of money on the console itself already.

Not to be disrespectful, but your logic doesn't work out for you all of the time. $100 can help me purchase a second controller and compensate for the tax of the PS4 and second controller.
Before anyone brings up the claim that " the PS3 was $499-$599 and it was okay," let me remind you that the PS3 had a blu-ray player. The Xbox? It has cable-box features. Maybe add a real cable box and two years of cable (with HBO and SHOtime) and it might be worth it.

Either way, PC will never have the console exclusives, cheaper price, nor split-screen capability on games that are fun with it.
