Agreed...this is not the first article I have seen where the writer says that these are "Wii" graphics..this was made for the Gamecube people ..same assets different control scheme. On a side note I do prefer the gamecube version over the Wii version while playing on the cube you can tell it was definitely made for that system and not the Wii.

Nes came out to compete with the 2600 mopped the floor with it graphically
Snes'Gpu colors and scaling made the genesis look 8 bit
N64 gpu was far superior to ps1 or Saturns over pixelated 32 bit crap
Gamecube ran on a power pc structure which produced the best looking games of its gen even though in terms of raw specs like speed the xbox was slightly better
the Wii/ds gen was the first that Ninty went for control...
