The thing is all the money microsoft has isnt made from Xbox, so why take a profitable machine, IE WINDOWS, cloud, 365, office and put it into your machine that's been in the red for a long long time, instead of putting it into the more profit le area. Just because we want them to doesnt mean they are or should do it.

its not impossible for ps4, street fighter 5 is doing it. It just takes extra effort for developers to make something crossplay which means more money spent, when it wouldn't increase revenue all that much

You know, the relevancy for these games doesn't warrant AAA in sorry, they are great games and all but the AAA industry has moved, and it did so with the consumers. The hardcore internet speaking gamers may want these franchises but that doesn't mean the majority of the population will. They will be produced but not as big as you probably want cause it is a risky move to bring back the likes of conk, toads, crash, spyro, etc... But I could be wrong we will see;)

Phil spencer is great for Xbox! Stand up guy and all, but the Xbox division hasn't been up to snuff when compared to Sony. Here me out, Microsoft has really disappointed me this gen. Starting with the anti consumer policies which they promised couldn't be taken away, but sure enough they took them all away. After having an Xbone for a while, had to get rid of it. Well i think that machine games has a very bright future ahead of them. thats for sure, and you can definitely tell that they are inspired by id? does anyone know if this game runs id tech?

What I wonder is how peripherals work with streaming consoles only? Like could they ever add vr or something to this console or would that require more hardware?

There is no denying that it is a masterpiece, that's irrefutable. Weather it's for everyone is a totally different topic. I personally think it's one of the greatest games/experiences every crafted in this industry. And I will always stand by that.
