I mean they kinda already have a checkpoint feature with the key areas to the next biome but you have to get there first I get it instantly starting there would be nice but then you’re jumping in area with lower tier weaponry and now people are complaining that the enemies are to strong etc, so the no checkpoints or save feature to me is good it pushes you to explore or focus on the main objective but if they add a save or checkpoint feature i wouldn’t be mad about it lol I just don’t mind no...
I don’t think they’ll add a save option to me it’ll defeat the purpose of what the game is and besides the game has key parts practically checkpoints but obviously you still have to fight your way to them but it saves time and gives you the choice if you want to keep exploring this biome before moving on
I think it’s a must have if you love games that make you push and challenge yourself to get better and progress more in the game, sure most people aren’t happy about the no save feature but come on a developer is trying something that hasn’t been done in decades! I’m with the ps5 not just because I’m a Sony guy but just seeing what both have offered before release and now after I mean they’re both moving in good directions but Sony is actually providing games on their new system that is what’s biggest for me and Xbox only is offering gamepass which is good but I necessarily don’t need to buy their console to play the games because they’re all supported on the Xbox one as well other than the medium and that’s not worth the purchase to go next gen

I’m pretty curious on who is actually buying the next gen Xbox X/S to really mainly play older games it’s a good move to keep older games around even on the gamepass service but you have hundreds or thousands of games there that probably won’t be played or just clearly over looked by bigger games within, and for the xcloud talk I can’t see many people going around playing games in public like that hell I rarely see someone with a switch out and about
