The Dewey Decimal game would be really mediocre. I would expect it to be too much 3D platforming with a bad camera.

It would totally be worth it if it were $5-$10. At the current price of $20, it just doesn't bring the value that I expect from a game that looks and feels like an indie title.
Still check out the demo of the game. It might strike a cord with you and you might find the dialog really funny.
It looks weird with the cartoon shading. That alone would take me out of it then the rest of it didnt look like it followed through all that well
But that's the issue... "when it does play". The review is on the product as a whole. The decision to put DRM that has ultimately broken the game for countless people was the decision of the publisher which should affect the score. A game that is unplayable because of glitches or whatever is still unplayable which should reflect on the final score.

I can't really believe that they won't give a refund for this. Its not like a customer came back and said they didn't like the game or that it was weeks later and they logged several hours into the game. This is a clear issue of the game being broken upon purchase, and still being broken which results in a defective product upon launch. A defective product should be able to be returned for a full refund or at least exchanged for another game on their service.
Such a weird game.
That isn't really an argument for it though. Just because they don't crank out a game every year doesn't mean that the game they put out isn't mediocre by comparison to other racing franchises. It doesn't mean that they aren't milking their fan base by putting out a half assed product just because they do it every 3 years. It just means that they are half assed at even doing that.
Its all highly customized and refined and maxing the engine out on very little. Basically, its not what we'll see in games but just a few things with more detail put into them. When you run more items at 1 time, the detail goes down.
You see this every single time with every tech demo. They are made to do that, which is what you saw last generation as well. In the end, games weren't as detailed as the tech demos showed.

GT used to be something amazing, but now they are a mediocre franchise that they release every 3 years. That is just far too long of a gap for a game that is essentially a clone of itself every time.
