Fans really need to be far angrier about Nintendo's antics. They are doing quite a bit to shut themselves out completely from the gaming world and it will end badly for them.
@WalterWJR - Ummm software has been and always will be that way. The "used game fee" that everyone is talking about is simply a license to use that software. We have no clue how much it is, how it will be tacked on or if any of it goes back to the developers.
No other software provider allows you to install their software multiple times without paying for an additional license, so why do we expect that of games.
The Wii U has had a multitude of issues. Nintendo's largest demographic over the past few consoles have been uninformed parents. You know, the same ones that call all consoles a "Nintendo" because that is what they know it as. Those parents still think it is a controller for the Wii that costs $400 and when the next generation of consoles hit the market, it won't look like any more of a bargain that it does right now. The price point was a main reason the Wii did so well.......
I do have to say that I love all the comments on here about how there are parts of Reddit that are OK. There are also a lot of parts of Reddit that aren't OK in their moral standing as well as how the admins police themselves. The article while criticizing Reddit as a whole, because remember that Reddit is a company as a whole, is really shinning a light on their hypocritical behavior of banning members for submitting content while allowing pedophiles to submit content under the umbrella ...
I'm guessing since you have 2 speech bubbles, you routinely have nothing to say.
I've always viewed Reddit as a place where a bunch of nerds get together to do exactly what they claim to hate. Someone get bullied? Then let's get 5000 people to bully the bully. Someone censor a group? We also like to censor groups that don't meet what we want said. A group trolled some of our members? Let's gather up a bunch of members to attack their website and troll them back. It's all reactionary garbage because they have sheer numbers on their side.
Should have changed the title to 'Monster doesn't deserve love'
I really do hate when they show these random 1 off shots. It makes stupid people think that this is how the final game will look when its clearly everything the engine can do at 1 time to just render a head.
Show us some in-game renders and I'll be impressed if this is how it looks. Since it absolutely will not look like this, I think we can just leave this one alone for now.
It is a shame that they went in a different direction with the series and really just stopped making them. This is that originality that the industry is craving right now.
Man i hope this is really good so it proves that these games can work
Fair enough, boobs it is fellas
Holy crap guys. Not every single article needs to be about boobs, do they?
Why do they feel the need to do this? It never really seems to work properly and it always comes back to bite them in the butt.
Bone, Thugs and Lulu
Really great stuff there. Love to hear all the different orchestral versions of my fav video game songs.
What a pretty game. I gotta give them some credit there, they can build an amazing looking world.
I'm really excited about There Came an Echo. Looks really really good
Great Photoshop man. Still insane that Capcom finally did a great game.
Never really have been a fan of the temple run games but I kinda dig the unique setting here.
So backtracking is now OK? Where were all the nice people with the Xbox issue? The fact is that Nintendo seems to not understand that pushing fans away is not a good thing. Being the first company out there to stop allowing is just as bad as allowing DRM to be top priority. It is simply anti-consumer regardless of if they backtrack a little bit.
