The final product looks better than the demo. And plays better too.

As you're picking it up soon you should see for yourself. Check back in and let us know what you think.

I also was not BLOWN away by the demo. The final product however - it is better IMHO.

[EDIT] Amazing. You disagree with someone's opinion? Do you also kick puppies and shake your fist at women voting? Pathetic.

There goes that idea!

"well i enjoyed MGS4, didn't get round to playing 3, but i did play 2."

Pick it up and play it on your PS3 (if you have a 60GB SKU) or crank out the old PS2 if you have to.

I picked up MGS3 for €4.99 (purely because I couldn't find it new anymore - obviously) and it was the best €4.99 I ever spent.

It's better than MGS2 in my opinion and I know some people who hold it above MGS4.

Seek it out if you can, you won't be disappointed...

If someone asks a question "best X of 2009?" then someone else mentioning any other game that "competes" in that genre is ON topic.

That's the topic for crying outloud!

:)

If the subject had been "OF2 - Lookin' Good!" and someone said: "Yeah, not as good as KZ2 though". THAT is off-topic.

Now, getting back ON topic. The team have a good pedigree and they know their tech so, though I don't believe it w...

They just changed the headline from sh1t to s**t!

BOO!

Might have something to do with the movie currently in pre-production.

I'm thinking they're seeing this game as a great tie-in though we can only assume that, if it's in production which it appears to be, it would come out well before the movie.

Maybe pimp this one to the hilt, new movie comes up which is a success, all of a sudden LP3 is the most wanted game in the universe?

God knows - as I've said before, I only played the demo and couldn't get pas...

When reading that headline I couldn't help but think of this one:

I think you have it!

Kudos for that (and bubbles for you). I honestly didn't think about the whole "What if we can't get it to work on the PS3 and it delays everything?" angle.

The fact that it says "coming months" suggests to me that THEY don't even know when it's coming for the PS3.

And I honestly believe that it is coming for the PS3. I'd be shocked if it wasn't.

I think people just see 360 controller and PS3 game and have some sort of paroxysm and disagree for the sake of it!
:)

If you prefer the 360 controller to the PS3 then that's your call.

Though, as I think others have already mentioned, there are game mechanics (like opening doors) that require the PS3 controller's SixAxis feature so - I'm afraid you're out of luck for this one.

:)

Good to hear about Alternative 2. I'm so used to the COD4 control mechanism that I was dreading having to learn a new set up.

What's everyone else using?

6205d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

So, 360 version gets 79% on MC.
And the PS3 version gets 67%.

Ouch ... I guess the answer I was looking for "It's not a great game on any platform"
:)

As I mentioned in the GameZone. I played the demo on the PS3 and didn't like it but was the final product (or the 360 version) actually any good?

6206d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

There is a vast difference in being offended by a comment and disagreeing with it. You didn't offend me for instance. I also don't agree with you.

You're not backing your statement up with any facts.
Here are some just to make it really clear.

Microsoft do not own Capcom.
LP2 is a Capcom game.
LP2 is confirmed for the 360.
LP2 is not confirmed for the PS3.
LP2 is not confirmed to be an exclusive.
LP1 came out on the PS3.

Played the demo on the PS3 and really didn't like it despite the fact that I'm usually a big fan of the genre.

What's the final product like? Worth a punt?

I don't want to play the naysayer here but are we saying the game supports Home or it supports Home from launch?

Because the translation infers the former and the title of this article suggests the latter.

Sorry - I'm just a bit confused what the news is here.

It's really not surprising that KZ2 will support Home and vice versa. Having game launching from inside Home at launch WOULD be big (ish) news.

Thanks

The headline is the most important element of the submission. A writer with any pedigree would accurately title his work so it can reach its intended audience.

The fact is: if you label your article using the constant trite nomenclature associated with "trash talking fanboy blog sites" then such an article is open for criticism - and it doesn't even have to be read. You lose all credence as soon as your brand it with such a tired title.

As I mentioned els...

Then you should have accurately titled your submission. Its current wording suggests yet another:

"Top X reasons why the PS3/Wii/360 is Doomed/A failure/crap."

I don't even read these articles anymore. Not because they are or are not poorly written but because any games journalist worth his salt would never write such obvious flamebait.

If you have valid arguments to make as you say you do then maybe create a submission like:

"...

I hear ya. I know a LOT of people who have already finished it and can not WAIT for mulit-player to kick in.
:)

Edit: How can you disagree with that? You don't believe I know people who have finished it? Maybe if I put it this way: "I know a lot of games journalists who have finished their review copies and can not wait for the multi-player to kick in."
