I think the real reason is they dont want unecessary bandwidth being used in the nintendo network. But they are right, watching twitch is boring.

Graphics and engines are 2 different things. At the touch of a button you will be able to see the original graphics. The gameplay will be exactly the same as the games were when they released.

I saw nothing special from sony this year. All the good games wont come out until next year and sony didnt show anything but Indie multiplatform and Free 2 play games. I dont even remember them showing driveclub.

It was the same thing but with better graphics, they didnt show any multiplayer in the Ubisoft conference. The Xbox one conference did had the 4 player coop showing.

They did show footage. Its on youtube, you can go back and watch it at IGN.com, they let you backtrack thier stream, or look for it on youtube.

I thought it was unreal Engine 4, it looked somewhat like Fable Legends to me.
