What a boring list he has. I don't care about any of those games. That's his five top games?
I find this report hard to believe. I've seen HDTVs without HD and it isn't that good. If you buy an HDTV you might as well get the channels too. Maybe what this report really says is people who buy cheap HDTVs don't get it. Anyone who buys a nice HDTV is going to want the better video.
If EA did do that I'd be calling them up and telling them I won't buy anymore of their games. No way would EA do it but since GTA4 isn't an EA game it won't happen. EA didn't just buy Take Two, did they?
Leave it to Micro$oft to come up with this idea. I can see it now. The base OS is $99. If you want to print you have to add the printer module. That's another $49.99. If you want sound that is another $49.99. If you need your mouse to work you'll need the mouse module. That's a bargain at just $24.99.
Once you add all the modules to do what you want your OS has cost you $500. Way to go, chase everyone to Apple.
I find this report hard to believe. And the rumor part makes it even harder to believe.
Based on this report it looks like Intel is trying to copy what IBM, Toshiba and Sony did with the Cell. Maybe they should get the idea patented so nobody else can make a chip that can use a bunch of cores to do graphics. It isn't as bad as a lot of the patents out there.
The PS2 is far from dead. If you think about it anyone who played PS2 online games is a serious gamer and has probably already moved on to the PS3. Most online PS2 games probably don't have many people playing them anymore. That doesn't mean the PS2 is dead though. Some people are just getting into gaming or the PS2 and don't want to spend a lot of money. It's still great for those people.
When it comes to Microsoft every month is a big month for patches. They sure have a lot of bugs in their software.
I don't see why anyone with a 360 would want Blu-ray. It won't help with games. If you want a Blu-ray player for movies just buy a PS3 or standalone Blu-ray player.
That's amazing it is selling so well. And over Monster Hunter. I guess that shows the difference between Japan and the rest of the world. They go nuts over a game like that.
What kind of site is Horny Melon? What a wacko name.
As for the dollar-yen, I read yesterday that the dollar gained on the yen. I wonder if the dollar will ever get back to being the currency of choice? It's horrible to see how weak it is now against the yen and especially the euro. I think Sony can find a lot of ways though to bring down the cost of manufacturing the PS3. Will there soon be a PS3 Slim? Technology changes so fast now I won't be surprised if Sony does find a way...
I have one word for you, ape.
Condoleeza - I think most gamers agree, games aren't the problem. Bad parenting is. They buy M games for Junior and then blame the games for all the problems. Games don't kill people. Bad parenting might though.
By the way, are you going to be John McCain's runningmate? I would have voted for you for President. But I guess you're too smart to get into that mess.
I agree with you on that. Why does the government have to tell parents what to do? Can't parents figure out how to raise their kids? I agree with Obama too. Turn off the games and TV. Stop using them as a babysitter. Look at the ratings on the games you buy your kids too. I have no problem with having a rating system. Too bad so many parents are clueless when it comes to checking the ratings on games though.
What does this guy mean the consoles can't handle Crysis? That's bull. It isn't that they can't handle it. The PS3 could easily handle it. They just aren't making a console version.
As for Kojima giving MGS4 a 1, I can't wait to see a game he makes that he gives a 5. That will be one great game.
I really hate April Fool's Day. All these lame stories. Wow, poor guy had to have surgery. This is just another lame April Fool's joke. At least make it seem more real.
But is it HDMI 1.3? How come they never list the version for HDMI? It's about time to start moving to 1.3 on all TVs. The PS3 uses 1.3 but it seems most TVs probably still use 1.2. It mind not sound like a big deal but HDMI 1.3 is a lot better since it allows a lot more data to go through.
I give you a disagree and disagree. I agree that Fable 2 is no system seller. I disagree with your comments on Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 though. Those will be huge. Fable wasn't much of a game so I don't see why they list Fable 2 as a system seller. Maybe because there isn't much else on the 360 list?
Just because the first game sold a million copies doesn't mean it was good. It means a lot of people were fooled out of their money. It probably also means the game came out at a slow time of year. The middle of summer is a perfect time for games like that to come out. Not much else new to buy.
"That's an empty threat. Will you not buy GTA even if it were delayed?"
Hopefully just telling EA my threat would be enough to make them crumble because I hope all gamers would do the same. We've waited too long already. If the game is ready release it. Hopefully it won't matter.
