Its like the worldcup of video games if you ask me, developers know they have to pull out the stops or they lose reputation. They make the big announcements and shock us each year, if we're being "Over" excited then we have good reason to be, I believe we will all be reading shocking news by the end of it :)

Cool they look awesome, nowhere near as what I can muster up. I made a pac-man kart and am pretty pleased with it but haha its nothing like any of those.
So true, games these days are all about saving your progress, whats stopping you renting then saving ur progress and renting again a little down the line if u didnt clear it the first time. The games back in the day on the mega-drive and Snes all made you work for that goal. Nowadays we can save , switch off and come back. Rentings a way forward for the wise, unless its a popular game you can see yourself replaying over and over or online.
I dream the day we actually get a decent announcement from nomura and co. I mean here we are, weeks away from E3 and they're doing very little to hype the games we'd love for them to announce. This is looking to me like another fine example of how out of touch they are with the western market.

Yeah its gonna cost a packet initially to get a 3D set, but like everything else these days , after a few months the prices will drop and it'll be affordable...... I keep telling myself that about the Ferrari Enzo.... someday :(
Its the japanese big-wigs. They're so out of touch with the western world that they try new things like sonic in 3D and dont realise how bad it is until even their own market in asia eventually stops buying re-hashed versions of 3D sonics after about the third or fourth publication.
Eventually they seem to have opened their eyes and hopefully now this will work for them and we'll get a good game. Not holding my breath though but i will probably buy it.
New orleans would be cool , it DOES look very similar alright, but it might just be trying to throw people off a scent. Something like washington or california-based might be more scaleable in terms of size considering empire city was modeled on a huge new york.

Yeah man this game was awesome i loved playing this old school, i'll defo buy it if the price is right. Glad to see them adding new content to it also, it always helps. Loved the cartoons theme tune also :P
Are you serious? Lol renaming it to FFXV would be a stupid decision since its linked to the same universe of Xiii. And having promoted it for the last year under the name "Versus" it'd be stupid marketing and almost look like they're admitting defeat.
Now none of us have seen too much info on versus to make a judgement how different it is to 13 but they obviously have it called that rather than 15 for more reason than you know.
Onlive to me sounds like a guinea pig that the big players will watch closely. I think no matter what, it's probably destined to not be as successful as planned. If it was going to lift off and revolutionise gaming then the likes of sony microsoft and nintendo would also be doing this. However it'll serve as a foundation and maybe if it proves to have potential and selling power it might turn heads from the big dogs and they might consider doing something similar.

Got a giftcard for gamestop, was gonna hold onto it since i bought rdr. But seeing as there doesnt seem to be too much in the way of console games this month i may as well buy modnation racers with it.
