I agree, didnt see much more than an intriguing trailer. Concepts looked good however just wouldve liked to see gameplay
Lol i take it you own an xbox then. FYI I own both.
I dont know where your coming from since the sony conferance hasnt started yet so its kinda hard to pass judgement.
And i'm pretty sure if you head over to planet xbox or other sole xbox sites you'll find the complete polar opposite to this article as well as a disembowlment of the playstation conferance later today.
Talk about double standards eh?
"New Crytek game cinematic – As seen in… nothing, but then the trailer showed nothing either, so basically it was a big bag of nothing."
I disagree with this, I thought that trailer looked sweet and showed a bit.
Apart from that I completely agree. It was lacking the "wow" factor and there was very little shock and awe, except at the end when free xbox's were given out and we were told the new version was shipping that day. Suddenly the audience came t...
I honestly can say ive never watched any of the e3 conferances live before. I dunno i just used to read the live updates. But for me, what i was seeing was a terribly presented and quite frankly boring in places mess. Halo, gears, mgs and forza. . . All ok , grand. . . but the kinect segment went on far too long with generic games and non-dazzling features and it dragged the rest of the show down with it if im honest, I just cant understand how anyone could say it was a huge success.
about a year or two too late though in my opinion. Shouldve been launched last year.
With no price drop it'll be interesting to see what sony produce to counter it. They could lower the price, or have a nice Move bundle arranged.
Its the first one ive ever seen live and if that wasnt a bad conferance i'd hate to see what a bad one is then. I thought they shouldve got kinect out of the way FIRST , then focused on halo , gears and forza after that. Kinect went on too long and by the end it was boring.
The conferance call between 2 "sisters" was terrible to watch and i muted it. The gift at the end was a light at the end of the tunnel for them I bet. Very nice to be in the audience no doubt.
I found it funny they gave the crowd one at the end and it was the only moderate applause they got all conferance.
Im looking at a guy showing the console now, more harddrive, usb ports and the usual stuff you'd expect.
Im watching it and oh god its awful.
the girl and her "sister" , it was so painful to watch like. no oscars going to them next year !
ah nothings changed there then, this has been happening anyways. No biggie.
Haha, Nice
Here have a bottle of bubs :P
I agree. Nothing like classic journey and that one in a million voice of steve's.
I like where this partnership is heading though, looks like singstar Journey. Or singstar 80's perhaps.
Presentation is as important as the product. If they fail to deliver something on the good side of the media when its time to (which I believe they have) then the performance and marketing of the product can be severly damaged.
The media were all over it because microsoft put mega bucks into marketing to gain exposure. The more exposure a product get the more media will cling to it.
its true. . .
I had to google her :( oooh the shame !
Shes quite hot though XD
Not sure since im in europe but 30 mins time :)
From the page :
"The Microsoft Press Conference has been delayed to 10:30. DANG!
Press Conference begins in 31 MINUTES"
They're showing they improvments they've made with the engine and are using it on the first games graphics as a comparisson to demonstrate how they're progressing.
Glad i just finished my dinner
Cheap marketing name.
Retail Assistant : "And we just got this in today!"
Gullable Consumer: "oooh its 3.5D , it must be better, lets spend more money!!!"
Wow....He aint trolling with an opinion.
I think the facial features are alot smoother and more defined on the sequel. Looking forward to seeing more of it.
"ignorant" people will happily mispronounce Connect , uh, kinetic, no no thats not right , kin-ector!!. oooh dammit I just cant get it right ! :(
From a business perspective , marketing it as "NATAL" now sounds like it was a waste with a name change relativly close to the launch date.
Autotune music *sigh* :(
