1+ million manufactured and shipped for launch is quite surprising , especially when they are only planning on making and shipping about 5 million through the end of their fiscal.
I figured about 2.5 million for NA (to make a solid showing vs. Xbone) , and another 2.5 million for Europe+Japan+rest COMBINED ..... so to get 1+ million out the door already in NA is surprising and most stores will apparently be allocated a little more for Black Friday too. They probably just want to reveal TLoU DLC tonight , and play Killzone Shadow Fall and Resogun like the rest of us. Greatness arrives soon.

I disagree. A lot of people just aren't in the market for a gaming rig , and they want to know which will be more powerful between the two consoles. There's nothing wrong with that.
And some PC gamers that supplement their PC gaming with a console are generally interested in which one is more powerful between the two consoles.
Pretty much anything can matter to some people - power , price , exclusives , online , controller , Live vs. PS+ value , 3rd...

I think he might be an astroturfer. neogaf is infested with these marketers that defend Xbox One. The ones defending ads seem to be using Hulu and Google a lot as justification.
I think a lot of people tend to understimate the importance of having a game like Killzone SF available at launch looking great with both a single player campaign + multiplayer worth checking out , with a sci-fi twist for an alternative to the standard war games for a lot of gamers.
The last 2 Killzone games have reviewed well and sold 2+ million (releasing out of the holidays) , and now it is a launch holiday title. Now even more eyes are on it with 360 only owners last gen...
