i have to say, MS i better out of Japan. Japan market is domminated by Nintendo and Sony, and the dominant consoles are the portable ones. 75% japan market is about portable and only 25% is for consoles like wiiPS360, and of this 25% MS catch only something aroud 5-7% ( 5% of 25% > 1,25% of the real market). that said i dare say that japan is not for mycrosoft, it's better go for other good markets...
Edit: In this generation, Nintendo was the king in japan, WII an NDS granted...
I have already played dozens of fighting games on multiple systems and controls, Street fighter, Tekken, Soul Calibur, Guilty Gears, king of fighters, Persona 4 Arena, Samurai spirit, melty blood, Skull girls, double dragon, killer instinct, rival school, smash brothers... name any game, a problably already played it...

your GPU memory is DDR 3 or Gddr5? if you are playing games that "PS4 could only dream of running" you GPU is GDDR5, no doubt...
don't mistake the DDR3 memory that your computer use for system, app and stuff, for the Gddr 5 that video cards use to produce better graphics...

Respect the guy, everyone is entitled to opinions and choices ... If he wants to continue with the xbox so be it.
My list:
1º) Good price > Make it at 400-450 price rage.
2º) Good games > you are doing good, keep things like this.
3º) No used fee bullshit > online pass is the maximum you can do! $10 to play online and full acess to offline contend, this is fair for all parts.
4º) Good Network and cloud service! I realy want free PS network, but if you need, i would agree to pay for a top level service... but only top level like my PS+!
Custom controller can be a good answer for ya sir (Razer controls for ex.). Plus i think this DS4 is gona be a level up in the confort departament.
edit: you can get used to DS4, it's not that hard...

I think it will be used in especial for the indie dev.! i can already see a lot of games whit "tablet like controls" beenig used in the pad, or games the demand more precision, like RTS games.
some peplo fit better whit Dualshock, some fit better whit Xbox controler... i have both, the 2 are great!
Xbox is a little bit better for shooter, i say 9/10 against Dualshock 3.
General games they are the same. ( my oppinion, majority of my friends give the upper hand to Xbox controller)
fighting are the problem of Xbox 360, in this area it's 10/5 for Dualshock, i can't get used to 360 D-pad. and i only give it a 5 because some friends of my manage to play bl...
if you mean to make it concave, yeah they did a good thing... if you mean change it's place to be like Xbox controller i say NO! Analog position is great!
you have 1 point, hardcore are minority in the market, but be sure of this... even my 13 years old cousin saw that xbox one became a "console for americans" after the reveal...
MS can do good in american market, but sony sure will do better in worlwide sales.

This list is very weak, the "Leaked xbox one" list is way better... I'm sure as hell that sony will have a way stronger list and MS list in "overrated"...
