To be very fair! Dark soul is a massive upgrade from demon's souls in graphics. In gameplay the evolution isn't that great and they are the same at fun and chalenge. (i'm talking about the first dark souls build, post lauch updates and "prepare to die" made Dark Souls "very easy"(for veteran players) to beat, making Demon's souls a more chalenging game in the end.)
Minecraft > the "Tibia" of this generation.
COD > It's the same for the last 4 years!
can't agree more! For real, this move is very important for Nintendo, because things like "go mobile game" can make a quick money for "the people" that you talked in your post (the sharks), but can alson make some damage for Nintendo IP in the long run...
Nintendo have Golden IP, they need protect this and this move is a very good defense.

Above Diablo II, dark souls, skyrin, Demon's souls, Final fantasy, Dragon quest, Persona, Tales, Ys, Xenogears, Xenosaga, Dungeon siege, dragon's dogma,pokemon, breath of fire, secret of mana, and many other!
Chrono Trigger is a master piece! best RPG ever to me!
Call WiiU Dreamcast > fair, it comes first, it's weaker, cheaper, it's losing ground very fast, no 3º party support.... Yeah, perfect Dreamcast.
Call Vita Dreamcast > No! Vita is stronger, came later than 3ds, Is more expensive, Have amazing games (but still behind 3ds) and 3º party suport is amost as good as 3ds 3º party support.... Vita is more like a Early days Ps3 vs WII,or a Gamecube/xbox vs Ps2.

Keep Xbox 360> only if you don't have a Ps3, no Persona 5, no Tales of Zesteria, no guilty gears Xrd... the only good thing coming to Xbox that you can't see on Ps3 is Titanfall, a game that can be played on X-1 and PC whit much better graphics.
And this is why i think that PS+ combo is the best thing in the gaming market!

What i read in this, 2 things:
1. Nintendo will let their character make crossover or be a "extra" in some games, as Link in soul calibur 2 and Mario in sonic games.
2. Nintendo will let other studios make games whit their ip., something like platinum games making starfox, ubisoft making a donkey kong, Bathesda making a Zelda (lol, epic) and Valve making Metroid (epic x2)

i'm more amazed whit PS3 PS+! Dragons dogma > Boderlands 2 > Bioshock: infinity > Metro: last light and a bunch of other amazing games! Not trying to be a dick but... Ps+ plus is making Games whit gold blush in shame... come on microsoft! i don't have my 360 anymore, but i'm felling bad for the xbox 360 user...
