consoles still have like 15-20 years of life on my book, but after this i realy think they will become things of the past.
In the past i never said things about consoles doon, I cold never see consoles losing to Pc or tablets but...
hey, this thing of streaming is a big deal, if this shapes well i can see this as the new way to play games.
next gen will probably be the last gen of home consoles...
12 years from now, internet will be so fast that gamestreaming will dominate the market, at least a belive in this...
think about this,
2000 > internet conection of 1 mbs
2014 > internet conection of 10 MBs - 1GBs
2026 > 500 MBs as standard? Perhaps 1 Gbs?
edit: to stream Ps3 games Ps now only need 5mbs, then just think in what can be done whit things like 500...

I think Mantle will work whit Nvidia cards, Perhaps i'm wrong, but considering what i read, if mantle go AMD cards only, AMD cards will have a "holy crap" advantage for almost a year over Nvidia cards.
