Although medicine maybe socialized in Canada, thus more regulated, healthcare benefits are not equal to that in the USA. Not all healthcare services are able to be provided in Canada, because medicine is socialized. And it's logical that most of the money on healthcare will be spent on the elderly, the disabled, cancer patients, and those with predisposed disabilities, therefore not the typical healthy citizen. So, what you end up getting is watered down services for everyone.
