Great, so you've played the game? Played the whole game from start to finish? So you know for a fact that every single enemy in the game is colored black? No?
They've shown us (video) a small town/village from the game. The game is due out sometime in 2009. For all we know, there are "white zombies" in the game too. It's a shame that people see black enemies and automatically get up in arms about racism yet that rarely happens when the enemies are white.
I agree as well. Noone seems to care when you run around killing white people. Black, White, whatever.. Just give me something to shoot at.

That's my biggest concern also, that the really anticipated demos will first show up on OXM and then become free several weeks later. Thus, if you really want to demos now, you'll have to pony up.
I just wonder when we will get to a point where we have dynamic lighting such that a level doesnt have to be remade multiple times based on morning, midday, evening, etc.
I'm no programmer, so i could not tell you what is involved in this process just that I think it would help in these situations.
I think the reason you see this trend is that, during the holidays, this is when more "mom and dad" purchases are made. Meaning, when little timmy ask for a game (or games) for Christmas, Mom/Dad rush out to get it. I think that is why you see more releases during the holidays.
Well, noone is making you read the article. And like someone said previously, sometimes these articles are more fun to read about than some of the actual "game news".

Considering the amount of sales the GTA games garner, I think the hype is justified.
I'm buying this day one. If they can nail the control scheme to more of a Saint's Row feel (driving/shooting) I'll be in heaven. From the previews I've read so far, it sounds like it will handle well.
They (OXM) have the Eternal Sonata demo that I want to play and now Beautiful Katamari. Right now my only way to play either would be to pony up for the OXM and disc. That or what until who knows when to access it, for free, from Live.
I guess OXM has to have exclusive demos, otherwise, some people would not purchase the magazine. I left my subscription run out soon after the 360 launched, because it wasn't needed then (for demos). I can feel for them as everything is going dig...
This could be interesting, to say the least. Hopefully it doesn't result in everyone screaming that they now have to pay for demos.
I don't mind the fact they all seemed to be focused on Single Player. When I finally got all the ones in COD2, It was quite satisfied knowing I beat the game on the highest difficulty. Too many games focus on MP achivements to the point people boost and other things that ruin the games for other people, just so they can get a specific MP achievement.
Definately looking forward to this one, both SP and MP.
Definately a rental for me. It's just that there are too many other games coming out to buy them all. I've liked what I've seen so far.
Considering how much more content is available for download, I think sony just needs to stfu. Retro and new titles, XBLA has something for everyone. So are they gonna attack Nintendo next for releasing weekly VC games?
Man, I'm gonna be so broke by the ned of the year. Just a TON of games coming out that I want to buy. Since I won't buy everyone, I'll be renting a ton as well. Great time to be a gamer!
Yeah, people are so quick to over-react. I saw that and thought it was just there like they mentioned, to see how it would look with logos, stickers, etc. on it.
Woot! Halo3, then GTA4, then COD4. Good god it's gonna be a good month! (end of Sept to end of Oct)
Considering this title isn't coming out until 2009, I hope they slow down on the "hype":) I'm already looking forward to the game, but 2009? Ugh, lonnnnng wait.
I never played the original; don't really know about it. Definately will check it out when it hits live. 4 player coop could be fun.
This was always one of my biggest gripes about the 360, that they chose to have one model with a HD and one without. Thus, forcing developers to program for the lowest common denominator (no HD).
It may not adversly affect my gameplay that much, but it would nice to have all units have a HD. Hopefully they eventually scrap the Core unit and redesign the console to have an included drive (like the PS3).
