Sorry you never had a ps3 and now you want to basically have a free one, but don't take it out on me. Son.

I have had no issues. Looks just like on ps3. I am sure it depends on your connection. I have 50 Mbps up, 50 Mbps down. What speed do you have to be having an issue like that?

I have no use for backwards compatibility. I still have ps3s and also use psnow.19/month isn't bad, but I am sure I will run out of games to play pretty quickly, unless they add more / rotate like Netflix. I don't know why you wouldn't keep your ps3 if you want to play it still. That being said I am sure BC is nice for someone who kept their ps3 games but got rid of their ps3. Why one would do that I have no idea.

Why would you bring up Forza? Everyone is talking about how they are excited for uc4. To answer your question, though, PlayStation has Gran Turismo. It has been considered the definitive racing game for a long time. Fans are loyal and defensive.

Same here. Thought it was me. Yep I get the ddos scan now. Maybe they were down installing that, or maybe they got hacked and shut down till installing this new ddos scan . who knows.

Its actually $40 now. I have one in my garage and was thinking of taking it in. Already have ps4 and pstv, so this $150 trade in promo isn't of use for me, unfortunately.

I wonder if it is remastered.Kings Field was awesome, but the graphics are way, way out of date now. Awesome they are re-releasing either way!

I agree. It is pretty cool with the gamepad.

That's a bit of a stupid, narrow minded comment in the only comments section I've seen in a while that is high spirited and lacks people taking sides... Sorry to piss in your wheaties but cmon, read the rest of the comments and see the comradery.

Sony invested like a bizillion dollars on buying gaikai and turning that into psnow. They have to recoup that somewhere. I doubt they will be doing BC this gen. Unfortunately. I still play the ps3 a ton.

@Opie. How do they make money without micro transactions? By charging $60 for a game and selling millions of copies. Just like every other publisher who do not do micro transactions. (Do the math, 60x8 million is 480,000,000. Granted their marketing cost will eat up half of that, but that is still hundreds of millions of dollars profit no matter how you look at it. (Basing 8m off of halo4s 9m in sales, figuring this will sell a bit less. Even if you want to figure 4 or 5m in sales it would st...

In 1997 ( or whenever it was) ffvii was a pretty big deal head and heels over pretty much everything out there. Tomb raider was certainly groundbreaking too, but not to the extent of ffvii. How old were you when ffvii came out? If you were around 13-18 then it was a huge deal.

I did boast of it on ps2. On ps3 I really thought it was a must have feature. Though I never found myself going back to ps2 games. I DO find myself still playing ps3 now even having a ps4.would have been much more useful this time around. I can't see using psnow till my ps3s take a crap and I go to all ps4s. PlayStation TV has been a crappy replacement for the ps3/4 in the one room.

@ persistantthug. If I remember correctly Sony sent Japan studio or Santa montica in to help them fix / finish the game. Would have never happened otherwise I think I had read at some point. I think that is what he was referring to. Also Sony making the shenmue kick starter in the news, probably funding it. Then how they treat indies with support. Just a few examples. Not sure if the last guardian bit is accurate but I am sire that is part of what he's talking about.

I could care less the fps. I trust they know what is best. They seem to know what they are doing.

@jv1991 the data bank is OK. If you are going above 2tb it is the way to go.You can go to 1 or 2 tb cheaper and stock with a 2.5 data though. I recommend stock personally. The data bank only works well with a 2,3, or 4 tb, and has issues with rest mode on ps4. Only get it if you NEED 3 or 4tb.

Not sure, but I would guess ps4/vita/PC. Sony funded ffvii when it released, and published it as well, so I would think they kind of own the rights in some way or another. If it does release for x1 and that is all you have and didn't play on ps1 then pick it up. The original still holds up today sans the graphics (it was originally developed for n64, and square moved it to PlayStation when Nintendo canned their CD unit for n64, which was developed with Sony. They just couldn't fit it ...
