Ya I'm confused w all the ppl acting like its "bringing back casual gamers" when it's always been a company for casual gaming lol. I'd like to see hardcore games come to nintendos consoles.
Sounds like ppl aren't understanding the term "casual". Nintendo has been a casual company for YEARS now. They don't do hardcore. 99.9% of Nintendo games are for casual gamers and I can't even think of a game that would make up the other .1% I'm just rounding down. I could easily say 100% of them are casual.
@Lol_Wut- what hardcore games are u talking about??? The WiiU was not for hardcore gamers in the least bit. Zombi was not hardcore.
That has been the goal of the company for a long time now. Most hardcore gamers don't play the Wii or WiiU. If they do its for party games like Mario Cart and Smash Bros. Even then most don't play them unless they are teens or under. Nintendo has been catering strictly to casual gamers since I can remember. NES and SNES had hardcore games. Bring THOSE types of games back.
I liked the story of 3, 4 and Hardline. I won't touch cod campaigns anymore after playing through Ghosts awful mess of a story. Not sure what u expected if u didn't like the campaign in 3.

The devs of cod don't make Battlefied, the ppl behind Tomb Raider didn't make Uncharted. U are talking about a team making 2 of the same types of games at the same time. They would literally steal sales from each other bc a lot of ppl don't buy 2 new games at once. Especially when they have similar aspects. Using your logic would cripple them.
Yes they definitely were. We just didn't raise kids in bubbles back then. Kids learned mature things sometimes but not in ridiculous ways like today's shows. I watched "Small Fry" all the time w the young fish that wants to grow up too quickly. It had smoking and drunk fish in a bar scene. Then he went through a nightmare scene. Then other companies need to step up and make adventure rpg's w fantasy settings. Witcher 3 was good but it does not scratch that itch. First person fantasy rpg's are an endangered species on the current consoles. THAT is why it's getting so much support. Dragon Age couldn't do the job. Until somebody does this, Bethesda is the only option.
Well I'm buying it bc we have 0 first person fantasy rpg's on ps4...I need my fix and no other companies are going to give us that type of game.
Even 2018 would be a stretch of u ask me. I'd say it'll be revealed or teased between 2017-2018. Won't release for a couple years after. 2019 I would say would be the very earliest it releases.

Ya ONLY 3 years ago. This isn't cod or any other annual game. It's going to be a good 5 years between games. At least.
I'd be willing to bet a lot of money nothing will be shown before 2018-2019 for a new Last of Us game. 2020 will be the earliest u will play it. Guaranteed.
My point has been made and now proven. Xenoblade might be hardcore for a 4 yr old but anybody older than that has problems if they consider that hardcore. Anybody can pick these games up and learn them within minutes and have no trouble progressing. Nintendo does not do hardcore. This is simple fact.
