200 million dollars (double the cost of the dark knight) for a movie adaptation of a game that wasn't all that great in the first place? the word recession must mean absolutely nothing to warner.

absolutely not. Im not trying to bash gran turismo 5, but Gran turismo 3 aspec sold 15 million copies. That means that inorder for the Gran turismo 5 to sell more, over 3/4 of every ps3 owner would have to buy it. there are only 20 million ps3 owners out their and there not all racing fans, so it's pretty much impossible. With that said it should sell well, just not that well.
Are they serious this game looks like crap, the art direction is terrible, and the gameplay didn't look fun at all. Microsoft needs to stop copying and be original, because this game has a long long way to go before it's anywhere near as good as little big planet.
-you gotta love microsoft for blatantly ripping off ideas and then acting like they just created the world in seven days.
i would have rather had something for gaming but I have to admit this application suprised me. I thought it was going to be something cheap but it's extremely slick, easy to use, and it has a ton of features. It's like something you would see apple put out not sony. I can't wait till i can put it on my HD tv that's gonna be something to see!

Yeah Crysis wins, but the fact that Killzone 2 can even be compared to a pc game as impressive as crysis and still hold it's own says alot.

First of all the ps3 is not a sinking ship. Blu- ray is doing well with the dark knight seeing 600,000 copies sold in the first day! Microsoft already charges 50 dollars a month they make a profit on there xbox live service. Sony is free and with the years of work that wen't into home they need someway to recoupe the cost. If they have to nickle and dime the consumer than so be it. I For one won't buy a thing to customize my avatar, but some people might.
2pac was shot in the head and he lived. infact he was shot five times the first time. of course the second time in which he was shot several times in the chest, killed him. so yah it's possible to live through a head shot and still be mentally efficient.
They give video games a bad name. Obviously there where other problems than just the fact that the boy wasn't alowed to play his halo game. Nobody who is in any way mentally competent would shoot there mom and father in the head over a game(over anything for that matter). I'm glad that sony is finally getting smarter. The biggest advantage that xbox 360 has over the ps3 isn't it's games, but it's marketing campaign. Microsoft will market even it's bad games 10x better than sony will market there AAA games. I've seen about 3 Little big Planet advertisements and sony wonders why it didn't sell like expected. Little big planet is a great game except very few people outside of the hardcore gaming community knows about it.

Just because some stupid fanboy says Gears 2 is the best looking game this generation, doesn't make it true.
Anybody who thinks Gears 2 is better looking than mgs4, little big planet, and GTaIv is either a huge fanboy or a huge addict.
:where's uncharted, gta prolouge, ratchet and clank,mirror's edge, bioshock, call of duty 4, or mass effect, those are all better looking than fable 2 or Gears 2.
To be honest from what ive seen Gears of War 2 looks better than Resistance 2 (graphics wise). Resistance also has little atmosphere affects and seems to be a little behind when it comes to graphics.

alright, that was impressive i'm even more hyped for killzone now and it's a deffinite day 1 purchase.
