The original people left and made Mistwalker, why do people attach themselves to the company and not the talent?
If it plays anything like the first one this will be a fantastic game. And by that I mean the guns and vehicles not feeling like TOTAL SHIT like they did in FC2, already liking the direction of everything that I can tell from trailers.
1, 2, 4, ODST, 3, reach.
2 there because of being the first with XBL and some of the maps were just great (I loved Headlong), I just remember it the most fondly because I havn't had the time to play the newer ones as much. I don't know why people hate on 2's campaign, it's not as good as CE because very few shooters' campaigns are, but I feel it was better than 3's.
And this is why publishers should just die, they could have pulled the plug on that project like happens to many games with a lot of potential (not to mention all the games that have been required to change because of publishers' idiocy).
Really all they do now apart from get games onto shelves (just launch digitally and they aren't needed) is hold onto the profits from games and trickle only the required funds back to the developer, because the shareholders need thei...
It's not a money making juggernaut anymore, tube sites killed the industry.
Also, it's not the media machines that push the envelope in terms of content, it's developers/publishers (though Sony/MS/Nint like to mess with what they can put on their platforms - incase it might interfere with their own business interests, like a first party title that would be in direct competition with a 3rd party game; they will say to change the game or it won't be allowed to l...
Car customisation is in the game ;)
I heard that and other details (which all turned out to be true) from a guy who knows a guy (this was at an event with loads of game developers, in Scotland, the guy who told me wasn't even meant to know, this was in 2009!). Also, it's clearly already in the engine in GTA4 and there were garages for it that never opened (my guess is they cut it out possibly for disk space or time saving, it's not a major feature).
Still not worth the £40 price tag, why is it the same price as on consoles when there's no Sony/MS royalties and the game is digitally distributed?
I care more about frame rate consistency, I'm sure it'll be fine on both because it's Rockstar.
There's an almost infinite level of skill someone can put into an FPS, it's all subjective. There certainly is a lot more to think about in Halo but if you are good at CoD or BF it is possible to literally trounce the entire enemy team constantly (because they think it's easy and don't put as much effort in, or aren't used to someone good, ^_^)
Yeah Bubble I am half trolling (well, it's a good way to make a joke). The 360 is truely a good console, but MS take the piss with charging for multiplayer so I buy multiplat games on PS3 and PC. I actually managed to lose the power cable for my 360 and had to buy one just to play Halo 4 lol.
They said it's a change from the usual, so in my mind that makes it suck - because it isn't really Hitman anymore (and the x-ray vision and stuff, wtf?). Still, it could be a great game otherwise.
It involves Enix, so don't expect much.
Yep. Halo is the most powerful duster in the world, it must cause tonnes of 360 dust to be removed each time once launches.
Have you played Planetside 2?
Yeah pot will actually be legal and regulated in most of the developed world before long. It is only illegal for dumb reasons, the problems are actually caused by the illegality.
As far as Wii-U goes. I just wan't a Pokémon MMO, that would get me buying one.
It's all down to the games, Sony and Nintendo both have good first party line ups but the Nintendo ones are going a bit stale in comparison.
Well, Capcom of old weren't idiots.
Medium price with medium specs.
High specs these days is quite extreme...
Either way, the jump will be huge. Graphics of launch titles will be easily in line with current high-ish-end gaming PCs (only really go higher end than that to play on very high resolutions).
Nothing wrong with mine apart from the game being overly demanding (specific engineering decisions for consoles, yeah they did a fairly lazy port but it's still superior to the console version) and games for windows live, but if V has GFWL it I'm not buying it on PC anyway.
I don't think the next Red Dead will just have a number on the end.
Those additions will be needed in the engine for the next xbox anyway (dx11). Also, artists work at a higher resolution than you see in console games, even in console exclusive titles. The asset pipeline manages the quality of textures etc that are exported for use in the game (they could still have to make decisions late on in development about what resolutions to drop on different models)
PC is also far cheaper to develop for than PS3 and 360, they did most of the specific ...
