I think it's more than ps2. Ps4 still had some competition in the first year and half, essentially due to 360 achievements so people had hope X1 would pick up at some point.

This game is amazing no doubt, but I really think they are releasing it in the wrong month. I am sure it will sell well but only in the long run. No way it can fight against Horizon or zelda.
First week sales are generally a good indication of the game's success. No game sells 2 copies first week and 20 million later on. Yes, some games are worth buying day one, allows the publisher and the dev team to plan what they should do next.
God of War always come around March April, so they are still planned for 2017 fiscal year and that goes until March 2018.

The problem with multi platform is that nothing justifies the purchase of the console anymore, and the more consoles sold the more games get released on it

nintendo and xbox are getting a massive hit combo right there, especially with how the crazy first quarter is looking in terms of releases.
The atmosphere of the order has no equal this gen in my eyes. It's so mature and so well directed. I really hope they jump back in. They just need to make it longer and vary on the boss fights.
