It's the biggest thing coming to Xbox One. And the Gears series sells more than the Uncharted series.
I'd buy an upgraded PS4 with no hestitation.
I can't blame Sony for wanting to stay the most powerful console. That's one of the reputations it has now. To lose that to a new system, the NX, would take that away. I'm all for a more powerful system and will support it...both MS and Sony.
Sony and MS should release an upgraded console before Nintendo NX releases. I love the idea of an more powerful console. I always felt the PS4 and X1 were uderpowered. When the Elite X1 came out I traded in my day one X1 and got the upgrade. I'll do the same for PS4 and X1 again.
Me too.
Good job Sony for listening to the real gamers and perhaps the developers who have complained about not having enough power. It only means more games coming per year.
They're saying the cpu on the PS4 and X1 are outdated compared to current tech. I wish the PS4 and X1 were at least current in hardware because it's making developmental times take forever. Now exclusive AAA games are comig 2-3 a year. I want more powerful consoles.
Exactly. Then it's considered underpowered. Even the PSVR is underpowered compared to the Rift, but people don't want to discuss that topic.
They'll have 5 at one gamestop and claim they're sold out.
How if VR hasn't won?
Please no Knack or Infamous. Give us Trine 3.
I wish it was digital. It's $19.99 at best buy too.
DX12 is still relatively new. When DX11 first came out it was the same thing. Even Windows 10 has a long way to go before it reaches its full potential. I have Protools 12 which won't work on Windows 10 yet like it did with 7 or 8 just because it hasn't been certified yet. Give the new APIs and OSs time. Because they'll be around for many years to come while constantly receiving updates.
My elite controller is like family. I love that thing. I had my paddles filed down to the perfect size.
Manhunt is a classic.
Yeah you're right. Plus Microsoft and Remedy allowed early releases for reviews. That shows confidence. I think there a game last year that didn't allow people to review it until after it was released for a while.
Well what you think Playstation and Xbox are slowly becoming? They both have the PC architecture. The Playstation doesn't have the "cell" anymore because it's too hard to develop for. The old consoles used cartridges. Consoles are slowing becoming PCs. MS will be the first to truly combine both. OS will out live consoles. Operating systems will be able to go in many devices like Windows 10 is coming to Xbox One. So no need to have fixed, underpowered consoles like the PS4 or...
They should make consoles with different performance capabilities. Make a low spec console for casual players and a high spec one for enthusiasts or people that have money to pay for the best.
If you wanna play it at a higher resolution then get the PC version. MS is giving you both console and pc versions. It should be no problem since everbody already claims to have a gaming pc.
@tonyk2 those numbers you got from unreliable vchartz don't include the PC release numbers. Try again. Gears is bigger than Uncharted. And this is the last Uncharted coming out soon. Gears will continue on selling millions. Gears 3 made over $1 billion in 1 week. And the fact that Gears 1-3 were given out for free on games with gold made it so people didn't have to rebuy them again. The initial release numbers are really what shows how big a game is.
