Look at yourself in the mirror before calling others shallow. If you want choice you have PC. Consoles always have been closed systems. Game devs can make whatever they want, and you have the choice to spend your money on whatever you want. Game devs shouldn't cater to anyone, and make what they want. If you don't like it, then spend you money on something else.
Just do a Sony direct like Nintendo. And have a separate panel for developers to show their games in depth.
No its not. Zelda series is only really popular in the west. In Japan the sales doesn't even come near some the bigger hitters like Monster Hunter, Pokemon, Mario, Dragon Quest, FF etc.
Dragon Quest is probably considered the gold standard in terms of rpg in Japan. Also what rpg feature does Zelda have??? leveling up? doing quests? so does many action adventure games. Zelda is a action adventure game with light rpg mechanics.
Zelda is casual as it gets, Divinity OS2 is for the hardcore rpg fan. Not that one can't enjoy the other.
RE4 was the game that started the modern RE trend in 5 and 6.

Yeah a bit late to be asking for better Xbox One. Work with what you have or wait for the next gen. Next gen consoles are coming in a few years.

I agree. Nier A is good but nowhere near the praise it gets. The level design and story leaves a lot to be desired.

That won't happen. The X will get the same support as the base X1. The are the same system. Companies make game for X1 and just higher mode for the X. The next gen Xbox is a totally new different system.
FFVII Remake is going to be a PS5 title. Maybe cross-gen at best.
I'm glad we have a beta. It will give people what to expect from the game. And people who haven't pre-ordered can watch many videos and get a better picture. At this point people very well know what Fallout 76 is. If you want a single player only experience prepare to wait a really really long time.
