Greenwalt claimed a lot of things concerning Forza 5. They also claimed E3 2013 the graphics would wow us with stunning visuals in 1080p at 60fps. They even showed a working demo with those mind blowing graphics at E3 2013 and a week later on the Jimmy Fallon show.
Well they did hit 1080p at 60fps but the graphics from E3 2013 took a huge hit graphically (textures, lighten and effects) to meet those specifications.

People were complaining about Forza 5 because it had nearly 2/3rd less cars and more than half the amount of tracks of Turn 10 previous installment in the series Forza 4. But something tells me you already know that and are using this as a weak @zz excuse to slag off Drive Club.

Thrustmaster T300 with a TH8A is the only option for now. Unless you can score a T500RS but they are more money and you still have to purchase a TH8A or TH8RS shifter. With the T300 you need to purchase T3PA pedals if you want a clutch.
Fanatec has a CSW V2 coming out but it's invite only probably for the first year. You had to have ordered a product from them previously to be invited.

If your post was directed at me explain to me how my math of 5 (weeks) x 150k = 400k. 5 x 150k = 750k. It's been over 5 weeks that Sony announced at Gamescom 2014 they hit the 10 million mark. So not only is my math accurate but it's a very modest estimation. I'm thinking their real worldwide totals right now are probably a good deal higher than that.

As usual you're wrong but that's why you're riding one bubble. You're just doing this for attention. The average user review and media reviews is right around 8. And those that are rating it an 8, like this article is pointing out, are mostly coming at Destiny as it being a pure FPS game. It's not.

No offense but it's obvious you don't have much of a background in PC gaming. I just got done playing FH2 on the X1 for the past couple hours and I had a great time doing so. But I have racing games on my PC that were also made for the PS3 and 360 (couple years old) that look better on my PC than FH2 does on the X1. Significantly better.

The thing I noticed most besides it's insane graphics is how ridiculously fast everything loads. That in itself is incredible. Most racing games have significant load times.

vgchartz is currently under tracking the PS4 by over 500,000 units. Sony announced over a month ago they broke the 10 million sold mark. The PS4 averages over 150k sold worldwide per week and it was 5 weeks ago Sony hit 10 million. That would put the PS4 around 10.75 and vgc has them listed at 10.19.
So yeah it's a no brainer they will significantly under track them again like they always do.

You didn't play the original Horizon? I mean you're right in the comparison to Test Drive in that its spot on. To me this is a more expansive version of the original Horizon. Which definitely isn't a bad thing either.

Fanatec products blow Thrustmaster out of the water. I have them all.
Thustmaster has okay FFB and good tactile response but their products are made out of cheap plastic. Fanatec offers so much higher quality products and are so much more versatile with their displays and being able to change settings on the fly.

And the cost clutch set (TP3A) $99 and stand alone shifter TH8A for $149. That's $649 for the complete combo and it's not worth it. I have the TX 458 which is this wheel twin just that it's compatible with the X1. It's an okay wheel. Fanatec products blow these wheels away and cost a bit more but unlike the Thrustmaster they're worth it.

Ryse is a rental.
Which is how I played it and what it was worth as far as value. It was a simplistic hack and slash game reminiscent of the PS1 / Saturn era when it came to game mechanics, decent story, excellent graphics (w/ performance issues) but very linear and some weird camera angles at times.
