I checked after every update to see if MS would speed the profile guide up and it never happens. It's a pain in the a55 when you receive a message while in game because you know how long it will take to address it regardless of the request.
This is like my biggest and possibly only remaining gripe I have with the 360 so I am pumped for this update to get here ASAP.

I agree with you about the bickering and fans trying to validate their system of choice in the silliest of ways (comparisons, reviews, sales, oh and my favorite resolution/pixel counts).

I own all the consoles, standard controllers, gaming mice, flight sticks, steering wheels and gaming chairs/c0ckpits and fight sticks. I am not into motion controls and I hope mainstream gaming always gives us the option of standard controllers.

I don't get upset over anyone's headlines. I don't let the media or blogers affect me personally in anyway. The only opinion I care about is my own.
I suspected it was a HHG article as soon as I saw the title. Do I think everyone of HHG's articles are over the top? No. But more often then not they are sensationalism and unsubstantiated speculation. Then again so is 95% of the rest of the gaming media and blogers.

I had a chance years ago to go through a friend that owned a chain of gaming stores but at the time I couldn't. Is it the same way now? You either have to be press or work in retail to get invitations to E3?

The only disadvantage I found is when you are just starting out or right after you prestige. COD4 and WAW might not be perfectly balanced but the perks, when used correctly, do balance out nicel...

At the very least a candidate for GOTY. Not that I hold much credence for gaming awards. I just purchase and play what I like regardless of reviews or accolades they receive.

but I love using propane tanks as weapons. It hysterical when you strategically place them on a level and shoot them when an enemy gets close. Pulling people down off of buildings is a blast too.

So why are people so hung up on graphics in comparisons articles then since cross platform titles almost always run identical to one another in gameplay performance?
I have both consoles (multiples of each). Graphics are the last thing that enters the equation when I am deciding which version to get. Thing is bigger titles (Burnout Paradise, COD, Madden, SFIV) I get on both consoles so I truly have the best of both worlds.
