Do you mean navigating NXE or will this update improve the speed of online in game invites, chats and messaging?
I thought I read a month or so ago MS was working on an update that would increase online in game profile access. Does anyone know if this update will have that feature? I skimmed through this article but didn't see any info regarding that.

I think shooters in general are big on MS systems. I am a shooter fan and I don't prefer FPS over TPS. I just enjoy shooting killing and blowing sh!t up. (<- that could be taken the wrong way ;))
I have a feeling Gears 2 wont even stay in the top 5 once ODST and MW2 are released. IMHO those 2 titles along with Forza 3 and possibly WAW will help keep it out of the top 5.

Stop being so caviler about your franchise title, get off your ass and make it run better online. That is what killed Gears 2 for the majority of people I know that purchased it. Especially when they have options like Halo 3, COD:MW, COD:WAW since they all run a lot better on XBL.

ODST seems a little slim on content for full retail price.

I wonder how many hours I logged into COD4 before I moved on to other games? I played it pretty regularly for the better part of a year.
I'm getting Forza 3 regardless of when any game gets released.
I am purchasing 3 titles the day Forza 3 is released (Oct 27th) and I will play them all that day, although Forza will probably eat up most of my time.

I am a huge Gears of War fan as well. I was so disappointed with the online and to this day I'm still not liking it. It was rather frustrating that no site was mentioning these problems.
The R&C review you are mentioning was a total black eye for Gamespot. I just want consistency from the gaming media. It's been a joke this entire generation and it's only getting worse.
And what they should be doing with every game. Gamespot, as well as the rest of the gaming media, needs to learn consistency and not pick and choose which games to thoroughly critique.

One of the most fun and addicting games I have come across in a long time. It is one of those games you sit down to play for a little while and then wonder how in the hell 6 hours flew by that fast.

My most played PSN game, even though it released retail as well, is Warhawk 1st and Tekken:DR 2nd.
